  1. According to my son. (Works for Samsung) Samsung curved TVs . They apparently thought about giving it up. With only 1 out of 4 successfully making it out of the factory that’s a big loss.
  2. Both Obelix And Paddy have answered the question. If you have trouble .. Remove the hard disk and connect directly to the new pc. Because you indicate it is old school, You will need an adapter to connect the old IDE Ribbon cable to the new socket. EBay have them.
  3. OK KEEP IT SIMPLE …. Any HDMI cable is the same. 1.0 2.0 3.0 4.0 5.0 6.0 7.0 8.0 ETC ETC. It is all the same cable!!! Gold is no better than silver etc. A £ 1.00p HDMI is the same as a £1 million HDMI cable.

  6. Old school CB … Hi good buddy what’s your 10,20. …analogue . You would get Hiss , dropouts etc. What we are talking about works or wont work…. No hiss dropouts etc!. Yes it may freeze for a moment on a low bandwidth connection.
  7. However let me say something. The cable means nothing!!!!! Gold, Silver, Copper etc.! The point is USB 1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8 ETC.   8. I bought an acoustic solutions TV about 9 years ago. Full HD still as good today as the day I bought it. 42inch . My son works for Samsung. And he keeps saying year after year after year .. I can not believe that is still working and looks better that the crap I have to sell.
  9. My friend with all due respect. Back in the day before digital then yes… Some cables offered very little improvement. When code is sent in 0 and 1 …. NO and I say NO cable has an advantage over another.! When we talk about 0 and 1s its about length .   11. A £ 99P cable will perform the same as a 1 million pound cable. One cable can not offer a better picture quality over another. Its 0 & 1 .
