It never fails to amaze me that we can waffle on 24/7 about Budhism,Hinduism,Islam,Wicca..... (which I believe started in 1957 under the Wicca Arches right here in Sheffield!), but as soon as anyone mentions Christianity, all Hell lets loose (pun intended) I know this may be the only lonely thread but I had to get it off my chest.

One VERY important ommission in this thread is the fact that the Muslim/Arab world have replaced Isaac, Abrahams only true son with his wife, with Ishmael, Abrahams son by his wife's maidservant. The Jewish people came through Isaac and the Arabs came through Ishmael. Hence the present day problems.

I went to Stannington College back in 1984 at the ripe old age of 34. I was as old as, and older than most of the staff. I took Leisure and Recreation studies and passed with credit and distinctions. Of course I never used any of my certificates as I came to the USA at the end of 85. Forward 20 years and here I am at school again learning Physical Therapy at the age of 57. Plus when I get my new hip joint in a few weeks I will finally be able to take advantage of one of my certificates I gained at Stannington as a childrens soccer coach. So don't give up , you're as young as you feel.

It's been interesting to read the absolute drivvel in answer to a good question. As one who was brought up on the now infamous 'Manor Estate' (ie 43, Ravencarr Rd), It seems like the general intellect has gone the same way as the surroundings..downwards. One or more of us probably won't be here in a years time, and the decision on your future after death, ie Smoking or Non Smoking, can only be decided by you whilst you're still alive to make it. I know that this comment is probably going to create a firestorm, but rather the fire during life than for eternity after death. Have a nice day!
