  1. did anyone watch the weakest link last night, do you know the name of the person that won it ?
  2. Can anyone let me know if Pleasley Road, between aughton & whiston is now open.
  3. its nothing to do with being a misery - its being fed up of them going of and our pets being scared all the time
  4. your right jena76 - displays only - not for personal use - there are to many idiots around that think its funny to throw them at people or tie them to animals.
  5. Why can't they just have fireworks on Bonfire Night. We know to keep our pets in on that night - now it seems we have to keep them in every night for about 2 months beforehand. We had a load of fireworks going off near our house last night and our cats were running round petrified. It shouldn't happen.
  6. Does anyone know what was happening in Aughton last night (Friday 23rd) there was about 6 police cars there when i drove through.
  7. I agree with SallyLaLaLa, the Sheffield Cats Protection are brilliant, they have lent us a cat trap to try and catch a cat that could have been Ziggy, it wasn't but the cat wasn't stressed or anything. It could help you get yours back - good luck
  8. I hope you find your missing cat - one of our cats, Ziggy, is also missing, we have done everything we can to try and find him - he was even the headlines on our local free paper this week as he has been missing for 13 weeks now. don't give up on your cat - we never will. Contact all the vets in your area and the cats protection, they are really helpful, and put posters up everywhere and in your local shops, the more people that know about it, the more chance that they will be found. Good luck!!
  9. have you seen a ginger and white cat around the car park in Morrisons in Woodseats. Ours went missing 9 weeks ago and although we live in swallownest, we think this might be him. There have been quite a few sightings of this cat (apart from by us!!! ). If you live in the houses on this road and have seen this cat or have been feeding a cat, please let me know. You can see a photo of him on the Cats Protection website http://www.catsprotectionshop.com/cats/main.php (his name is ziggy) or there are some posters on some of the posts around Morrisons car park Thanks
  10. I am glad she has come back. I wish ours would do that, he has been missing for 8 1/2 weeks now. The house seems empty without him, although we have got other cats.
  11. its not the ones that through no fault of their own don't pay, its the ones that have no intention of paying. I have seen one woman who gets on at Cricket Inn Road most days, and she always turns her back to the conductors when they come passed. Occassionally, there is a conductor who is more efficient and she has to pay - and it might be sad - but that really makes my day, so it's not that she has got a weekly pass that she can't be bothered to show.
  12. does anyone else get annoyed with people who get on the tram and totally ignore the conductors when they come round and don't pay. I pay my fare for the park & ride!! its because of people who do that, that the fares are always going up.
  13. his collar was either blue or green and the tag was the shape of a cats face, but he hasn't got any black on him.
  14. we live on Collingham Road in Swallownest to find his picture on Cats Protection go to http://www.cats.org.uk/branch/sheffield and then click on the lost and found album and he is on there. He might not come when you shout him as he is very timid, but if the photo looks like the cat you have seen - please ring us and we will come and look, even if it is only slightly similar, we like to check all possiblilites.
  15. We live in Swallownest, but he could be anywhere. He has got White on his four paws, on the left side of his nose and on his chest and belly. there is a photo of him on the Cats Protection website.
