  1. Nurse leaders accused hospitals of “panic-buying” overseas workers at great expense to plug staff shortages, while patients groups raised fears that care is being compromised by nurses with poor command of English. I wonder how much great expense is. They recruit about 5000 a year from abroad so it works out at 350 million a year, the UK's education budget is £89.4 billion a year. Surely we have a moral responsibility to make sure British people that have been educated at great expense get the chance to work in the NHS or any other profession they choose. I would also think it immoral to recruit staff from abroad just to save money here, when it must have cost their country money to train them.
  2. I know, I am not the cause nor do I encourage anyone to risk their lives to get here. People like you are the cause of the worlds problems and suffering, and I can understand why you want to ease your conscience.
  3. Any thing can swarm, look it up. A large number of anything moving from one place to another is a swarm.
  4. We was already doing more than our fair share and because of pressure from a minority we will be doing even more.
  5. Lets hope he stays safe now he is back home and is able to protect his families burial site form the onslaught of IS. ---------- Post added 05-09-2015 at 08:15 ---------- This must be the worst post I have read since joining this forum, its sick.
  6. I suppose if he does that he can then reject immigrants from other parts of the world because we will no longer need them, take Syrians instead of other non EU migrants.
  7. They can be treated like human beings in the first safe country they enter, once there they are much better off than millions of other people around the world. We shouldn't be taking the educated migrants ,we should be helping them to settle in countries that are in much greater need of their skills.
  8. Some people have forgot about the millions of people that are much worse off than these migrants, the migrants we see on TV look much stronger, healthier, and in many cases are wealthier that millions of hungry people spread across the world eking out an existence. ---------- Post added 05-09-2015 at 07:42 ---------- A much worse one, I don't think they will look back and think Europe inviting them in was the right thing to do. ---------- Post added 05-09-2015 at 07:50 ---------- Just think how much these people could help in countries that are in need of doctors, engineers, and other educated people. A poor country could offer them safety in return for them turning that country into a wealthier country.
  9. Just British citizens, 94,000 non-EU citizens and 91,000 EU citizens also left.
  10. 641,000 immigrants came to Britain in 2014 and 139,000 British people emigrated.
  11. I don't think the problem is the hourly rate of pay, its the number of hours worked. In work benefits are calculated based on number of hours worked, income, and circumstances. Someone working part time might get housing benefits and tax credits whilst someone else doing the same job for the same hourly rate will get no benefits because they work more hours. Too many part time workers if the problem that needs sorting, get them working full time and the benefits bill will fall significantly, removing in work benefits for part time workers will go some way to sorting the problem.
  12. Rubbish, they were a direct response to Muslim aggression, an attempt to turn back or defend against Muslim imperialist and barbaric conquests of Christian lands. Barbaric yes but that's the nature of warfare.
  13. Yes No An historic imbalance in what? Why does it matter?
  14. No you are wrong, and 7.5 million foreign-born residents in the UK and another 641,000 arriving in the past years proves you wrong. Thousands of British young people are being let down by our education system and lack of training places after they leave school. The Youth are there and want the training, it just isn't available in high enough numbers. Schools are suffering under the pressure of mass immigration and that is bound to have a knock on effect on British children. ---------- Post added 28-08-2015 at 19:45 ---------- Increased demand also increases prices, food miles increase prices, so using immigrants as cheap labour must also increase prices because they increase demand.
  15. Most men and women can behave on trains, some men and women can't, catching and arresting the ones that can't is the common sense thing to do.
