thanks for the response, its packed with full frames - honey etc and he did add another super after your last post, but we tried to look into it again this last weekend and its absolutely jam packed with full frames and honey etc. he could probably do with some practical help from someone thats got experience of bee keeping but unsure where to get that? Have you any more ideas? Its not been properly opened up for some months i think?

Some advice required for a friend that isn't that experienced as yet with the bee keeping. There are a lot of bees in one hive - does he extend it upwards or split it off? Any advice/practical help from a fellow bee keeper appreciated, the bees are in his garden.

La Gondola , Carver Sreet is reasonably priced and fair choice of meals. It caters very well for big groups, had my 50th birthday meal there 22 in the party and no complaints, good service, decent food. BB's in town is delicious food and have a wide choice of options on the menu, friendly staff. You can take your own alcohol too which saves on the cost. I also like Marco at Milano, its quite pricey but lovely food. You have to leave a deposit to book for Saturday nights though, let them down and you lose your deposit on bank card, think its £20.

Our current fave is Front Room Hillsboro. They have some unusual options as well as traditional curries. Food is well presented, delicious and service is excellent. Rajiput at Commonside used to do a nice lemon curry and you take your own alcohol which can cut down on cost. Prithiraj on Ecclesall Rd is good too

Anyone got any current recommendations for where is good for a meal on a Sunday afternoon. It doesn't have to be traditional roast. Its for a milestone birthday of a relative and i need to book somewhere in next few days. Looking for a restaurant or pub North or centre of Sheffield.

Anyone know of a professional ironing service? Myself and hubby are attending a wedding mid August and our wedding outfits have been dry cleaned but are crumpled as dry cleaned some months ago. Also, they are tricky fabrics so i'd rather not risk ironing them myself.
