how did you do with the mobility scooter? did you get it running ok? do you still need help or another scooter?

i can repair packs and provide capacity graphs and internal resistance testing on most types of battery packs and single sells.lipo to pb. i can resolder aluminium , nickel and copper pack connections and offer advice on type and performance qualities. the most important thing when repairing a pack is to use a replacement cell of a simmaller capacity as the remaining ones in the pack. as capacity reduces with time then just replacing on the manufacturers claims can be a little bit ropy. ideally the pack cells work together as one, with no infighting between the cells the cells may say 1.2 ah each .. but untill you test theres no way of knowing. when you do test its not very often the results match the claims! your pack will only perform as well as its weakest cell. if its hot best stop, if its swelling its telling. hope this helps.

that would be cool..i have full battery diagnostics system so can repair packs and replace cells an sometimes can get a bit more life from um;] how many do you have? we can test to see if their claims are true ;] 6000mah is a big cap for an 18650!

hello, i have recantly become intrested in electric bikes and vehicals and i am looking to start a local group to work on projects ,group buy items for better discounts, and go for rides/meet ups in the summer months and workshop in the winter. the idea is that we share knoledge ,parts and abilities to create some electric powered vehicals that will deal with the hills in sheffield while still giving us a good range of travel. also to set up an develop an intrest in building and servicing your own vehical, outside of the petrolium systems and steelership francise models that hold us to ransom. the end goal will be to build and then power, from solar and wind generation electric transport thats exciting and capable of riding the demanding sheffield hills and pot hole ridden road surfaces! any one intrested? the greater end is to get a deeper understanding of how sustainable energy can replace fossil fuels in our day to day lives and free us from unhelpfull govenment and corperate intrests. ;] what ya reckon...i have 3000 ,18650 lithium ion cells to get us going...thats half of a tesla pack..lol
