  2. Thanks for replies. Any suggestions for someone to do it/quote?
  3. Hi, I live in a 60s semi with large square bays which are tiled. They need replacing. Any ideas? Suggestions? Ideas of cost? Have a photo but can't see how to add it
  4. Found out the tip will take it but gotta chop it up and there's bits falling off it already Thanks for the replies.
  5. Can anyone copy a shirt for me? What sort of price should I expect for labour? I would buy material (linen) cotton and buttons etc. It is not fancy, no pockets needed just a straight long ( mid thigh) linen shirt with collar and buttons down front.Fitted for a female so needs darts in strategic places. I'm in S36.
  6. Taking dead Christmas tree down tomorrow but what do I do with it? Not had one before and won't rush to get another. Will bin men take it? Or the tip?
  7. Don't think they do work as they have inverters which need power. In emergency with the know how I think you could rig something up?
  8. Part of the problem is that the frequency on the 57 is further reduced in the morning peak. It is now every 40 minutes, whereas before the "improvements" it was every 20 minutes with an X57 trip as well. So the chages have not been beneficial in the Stocksbridge area.
  9. Why is it so difficult? You keep yours, husband keeps his and choose one for the kids. Having the same surname does not make a family.
  10. Visas turned up with 4 days to go. Phew, that was too close.
  11. What you thinking kidley? I am suspicious of the process. It seems over the top. They said signature didn't match and to be fair it doesn't. Husband had to get train from work in Manchester to B ham and be there by 230 same day, signed the form again and it has been put through. Still no promise we will get visas as that is up to the india high commision. Trip advisor has many posts all complaining of the same thing. I have been twice before and never had problems like this.Lets hope it is teething probs and they will sort it out.Unless there are more sinister reasons ....... ?
  12. Got the photos, now our applications are back cos signatures on form don't match those on passport exactly. I could go off india - seriously.
