Well, there's a few things wrong with that. The first and most obvious thing is that Muslims are followers of a religion, and not a race of people. The second is that Muslims represent less than 5% of the UK population, whereas white people represent 87%. The third is that I've already said I think the change of PM should trigger an election, but if the Conservative party was made up of 100% Muslim members and they changed their leader in the current setup, then yes, I'd have to be happy with that.

Maybe they should have referred to the relative size of the electorate compared with the population as a whole then, rather than focussing on their race and age.

If you choose to listen to Stormzy or Eminem then you expect swearing. If you're out at a restaurant or in a park with your young kids, you don't. It's not the swearing per se, for me anyway, it's the sheer lack of consideration towards other people that some people seem to have. They don't care if there are kids around, or people who don't want to hear swearing, because to them they are the only people who matter.

Public swearing is.... swearing in public. Being a lady means behaving with class and good manners, for example, by not swearing in public (or urinating in the street, yelling, getting into fights, etc).

What other aspects? I'd say regular public swearing would rule out a woman from being considered a lady, and regular public swearing would rule out a man being considered a gentleman.

A similar difference to a loutish thug and a gentleman. Holding doors open and giving up seats isn't treating women as inferior. Quite the opposite, it's preferential treatment. Personally, I hold the door open for anyone, and give up a seat for nobody unless elderly or disabled (though it's a situation that very rarely occurs since I don't use buses or trains).

Typically converted houses are worse for sound insulation between floors than purpose built blocks, because the floors were made for storeys of the same property. Sound will always travel through the weakest spot.

Flats have properties above and below too, which is where most noise transmits, particularly with converted old houses that weren't purpose built.
