  1. Because you will not be left alone Snooper's Charter. Mind you, it's already happening without being officially implemented
  2. And here are people thinking socialism is giving people the opportunity to raise themselves up in society and not drag the millionaires down, the latter of which try to keep the poor down
  3. David Cameron said, “For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'” http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/britain-is-too-tolerant-and-should-interfere-more-in-peoples-lives-says-david-cameron-10246517.html Be very worried indeed
  4. What government was in power when the article was written? Oh and evictions are up to a 6 year high, 54% in 5 years http://www.theguardian.com/money/2015/may/14/tenant-evictions-reach-six-year-high-rising-rents-benefit-cuts

  6. I await your apologies http://www.theguardian.com/society/2010/aug/03/lifetime-council-tenancies-contracts-cameron
  7. Not sure whether this is a good or bad thing. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-32726171 Does it provide scope for more social cleansing and provide councils with more control of finances and promote regional laws? If so, why the need for central government?
  8. France at 0.6, the UK is at 0.3 http://www.theguardian.com/business/live/2015/may/13/eurozone-gdp-growth-figures-bank-of-england-live I await the apology from this alias you have created
  9. I see the tories are also whinging at the impartiality of the BBC, when what they really mean is why aren't they as pro-tory as most of the British media. I’ve known for quite a while that the government has been trying to control the press what with the Leveson Enquiry etc and this is the latest spat. The BBC will be next to be flogged off
  10. Read in the Metro paper this morning that the UK economy is growing about half the speed of that of France. In fact the media this week hasn't been very kind to the state of the economy and the effects austerity on society. Maybe that’s why the papers have turned their attention to immigration again. Strange how all the negativity has come out following the week of the election.
  11. What's not good new is the government is planning maximum council tenancies of 5 years
  12. Even the churcg are having a bash http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/church-ministers-emotional-plea-david-5688354
