It appears we are both wrong, it is in the borough of Trafford which is neither part of Salford or Manchester, but Greater Manchester...... However it is nearer to Salford in Trafford than Manchester And if we have only 27 fans I am sure they wouldn't stop you using the gym would they? Or is it that the gym isn't closed and you are just scared of meeting the real men that come over the border from Rotherham....... Rotherham didn't leave Millmoor because the rent was too expensive it was because the lease said when we stopped using Millmoor we would have to pay for it to be knocked down and put in a condition that the landlord could use it for something else, this would have cost too much on top of a new ground so the decision was made to go to Don Valley, which by the way is the most god awful place to watch football in the world ever....

On behalf of the entire fan base of rotherham united I apologise because you can't use the gym, we send our sincere apologies, and although I like your comparison of the might millers to Man Utd it isn't really like them playing in Leeds, because they are quite a long way from each other..... It is like Manchester United playing in Salford, which is what they do.......

I also want to help people set up their own businesses and mentor them through the start up process because I have successfully done the same thing. However I do it for free. I find things you have to pay for, such as this, are often providing information that you could easily get for free. Business link advertise lots of free talks and seminars that will be helpful, for example Michelle Mone has given talks twice over the past year in South Yorkshire, she is an amazing speaker.......

I would have thought the bigger safety issue was the 100 or so bradford fans who celebrated on the running track after you scored the first goal.... Luckily the rotherham fans are a little above that and didn't respond to the goading of the bradford supporters.....

Looking at opening a clothes shop
magic_rat replied to scottwoodbur's topic in Sheffield Business & Employment
I think what the poster was trying to say was that a website would be just as expensive as a shop... A decent e-commerce website branded properly would be between 5,000 and 10,000. The cheapest way to try something out is probably e-bay........ -
Both my dad and maternal grandfather had little formal education and have both been very successful businessmen...And although I went to UIniversity I didn't do that well, I think it is because I always wanted to work for myself!! ViperK I love your shop, How is it going on Eccy Road?

I think your experience of Senta is quite common. I did a course called LEAP about 4-5 years ago and a lot of the people I was on the course with went to see Senta and no one had nice things to say about Senta, the feeling seemed to be that they didn't have real business experience and thought more like beauracrats than entrepreneurs..... -
Whats your views on rotherham united move to don valley stadium
magic_rat replied to susie34's topic in Sheffield Football
As a miller who lives in sheffield I think it is a good thing..... It gets us away from the booth family, and hopefully we will be in a shiny new stadium within 5 years... And it will be nice to walk into town to get a supertram to the match, and be able to have a pint or two beforehand....... -

I nipped in after having tea at Platillos with my mum and dad on Sunday night... It was awful, couldn't see a piano and playing generic euro pop, very expensive and a very West Street crowd.... I was so disappointed!!! -
I am looking for someone who suffers from SAD, and preferably currently uses a Litebox to treat their problem. I would like the person to be a case study for one of the product I sell at http://www.welovesleep.co.uk to be used in a pr campaign. I would also like someone who suffers from the winter blues at this time of year to test the product as well and be used as a case study. Of course you will get to keep the products......
