So far, this is really positive not one bad word! I wonder if the previous problems people reported were more to do with new plumbing and the building settling or whatever (no I am not an expert I have no idea about these things) or maybe the owls and squirrels

The New Akbars is where Antibos used to be in West One. It is real Akbars not that god awful imposter place. It's good food! Good service and to book you can email [email protected] I did it the other week.

That is definitely the type of ghost story I like lol. Although that would be the kind of thing that would bug me if my bell kept ringing and it was for someone else

Of course commute, expense, space etc are important, however I don't want to be somewhere that ticks all boxes but I don't like because it's noisy in the middle of the night. I don't care if it's plumbing or poltergeists making the noise I don't want it. This is why I am only really interested in the views of people who live around the area who know what it's like to live there.

Hi I know a few years ago there were accounts of strange things happening at the old middle wood hospital flats. I can't see anything recent on here. I am looking at nice apartments and I do think Kingswood look lovely. However I don't really want to move somewhere creepy. I wanted to know from anyone who currently lives there or knows people who do or even people who have lived there... 1. Are there still weird things happening? If so, what? Is it in any particular apartment blocks or floor? I don't want to know hearsay tales from when it was a hospital or people saying it's all rubbish (maybe it is) I am neither a believer or non believer but I don't want to be somewhere where I keep getting woken up by strange things, whether it's explainable or not. I read sometimes the strange things stop after renovations etc have been complete and settled for a while. So I am wondering if kings wood is now quiet?
