Carboot at Firth Park as part of the festival Sunday 25th June from 12noon.

In two days time this will be ON! It's a free entry event with lots of entertainment and things to see, low cost activities and stalls. Also the carboot to have a riffle through if you like a bargain hunt. You can still get a pitch for the carboot part - just turn up on the day if you fancy offloading your rammel, the Firth Park Road entrance opposite Firth Park Avenue at 10.30, £10 a pitch. See you there - O the weather is looking respectable too!

Firth park summer funday 26th June, is adding a car boot field this year, pitches are available, for the first 20 cars. e mail firthparkfestival@gmail.com. for info. the main event attracts great crowds every year, good facilities on site, toilets, food and music all afternoon, 12 till 5pm so you don't even have to get up early. £5 per car if you prebook - £10 on the day - all money goes towards funding the event for the community. After last years first attempt at including classic cars into the popular summer fun day in the park, we are looking for more entrants this year. we provided a separate part of the field for the cars, with clearly defined no go areas for the spectators and provided a safe route to exit the park for classic cars in case it was needed for poor weather. about 12 cars came with us last year, but we have room for many more, the event will be free entry, and will be the last sunday in June.(26th) if you have a vehicle or are involved with a club of any sort and would like to know more please get in touch. firthparkfestival@gmail.com info here http://firthparkfestival.blogspot.co.uk/ many thanks.

Firth Park Festival team are delighted to announce the 2015 Winter wonderland event will be happening in the park on SUNDAY 6th December between 1 and 5pm. Large craft marquee, music stage with Chapeltown Prize Band, local performer Stevie Moore, kids club dancers, fairground rides, fantastic food stalls, wreath and lantern making for kids and families, Santas grotto and illuminated trail around the park. Fireworks at 5pm with the switching on of the local lights in the shopping area and roundabout. Entry is FREE although some attractions will have small charges to cover the costs.
