  1. i don't work at the wick .... if you have a look at my other posts you will see they recommend other pubs too, just like the one above, which recommends old house
  2. errrrm when i took my girlfriend there on friday i ordered her a dolce mojito which she loved! it has gin and wine in it, not like the typical mojito...for me it was just a belgium blond, they have a great selection!
  3. yeah lescar is great for around 6ish/7, you might struggle to get a seat on a friday or saturday though! failing that i would go to tav, cheap drinks! however, i much prefer the wick at both ends on west street, great music and great vibes! if you go to wick you MUST try the lemon drizzle shots, they are amazing so so so good! old house is nice too
  4. i would have gone for the trainers, don't want to ruin nice suede desert boots with alcohol stains !! what did you go for??
  5. the wick at both ends! it's on west street, or old house which is on division street
  6. the wick at both ends is my personal fave! great atmosphere, good crowd. AMAZING lemon drizzle shots (you have to try them) also old house is nice too, bowery, those types of places! ---------- Post added 30-01-2015 at 09:47 ----------
  7. the wick at both ends is GREAT and you have to try their lemon drizzle shots they are amazing! cubana is great if you want salsa
  8. i would definitely opt for either the wick on west st or old house. if you end up going to wick you HAVE to try the lemon drizzle shots they are amazing !!! and as for which day, i'd go on a thursday, good atmosphere but not too busy!
  9. I know this might be a little out of your way, but Walker Cutting garage on Raw Marsh Road offer a great (and cheap!!!) car service and repair. I have been on numerous occasions and always think it's worth the extra travelling costs to go to someone who you trust isn't going to rip you off! Here's their number 01709 828220 and their website http://www.walkercutting.co.uk/
