Hi there. It was a shop i used to use. Originally called Freewheelin and then i think changed to Freewheel. It opened around 1994 at a guess and remained open perhaps 5 years. Hope this helps.

He's avin you on. Fir St is bril. You'll need some energy to climb road though as it's v steep!! Lovely place to live.

:rant:As usual have done my shopping at Crookes again this evening and as always, wished i'd not bothered! Their prices are sky high, the shop is freezing cold and the staff are appauling. Some of them would need instructions to open a can of beans! Crookes desparately needs another supermarket, Coop realises there is no local competition and trades as shabbily as it wants. Anyone else feel the same?

Notice that Haybrook Estate Agents have had an open day today to promote the unveiling of The Corn Mill at Malin Bridge. Wonder if anyone went, and if so what did they think?

I also had similar problem with BT when i moved house, so much so that i switched to TT. I made about 30 calls to sort what should have been the simplest of problems. Words failed me re their complete incompetence...

My grandparents lived in Fulmere Crescent from about 1935 to 1975. their surname was Ellis. I wonder if anyone remembers anyone of that name from this road?
