Its great, i brought a few houses there a few years ago for a good price. Now i getting getting just over £400 on each house. not a bad investment. their are nice honest people once you earn they trust. How did you expect to them react , Just look at the local yobs treat them. they are just standing their ground. If you keep yourself to yourself you will have no problem. Walk round and giving them the dirty benefit cheat people and how do you want them to react?
