  1. Thankyou! I'll give them a call and find out some prices.
  2. Thank you for your reply! I will consider these things
  3. This is total hypothesis at the moment, as I don't even have a horse trailer (yet). I'm considering using a horsebox to tow my circus equipment, and to sling a mattress in when staying overnight at gigs. There are reasons for this idea - we are on a budget, and have had trouble with the vehicles we have used before for the money we have. We need something we can stand up in, and need to use a car that has 7 seats due to having a large family, so couldn't do with a smaller van. What would be peoples suggestions as regards to storing it? We're Hillsborough and would prefer somewhere close by. Any input appreciated!
  4. Try Medi Spa - they have a fire pit. It's technically a healing spa, but also offers camping. People seem to love it or hate it, and the prices are confusing, but the place is what it is, we actually had a lovely time there if you can get round the strangeness. You'll see what I mean Worth a look if you want to camp, have a fire and pretty much be left to yourselves. *Edit* Well, as long as you don't mind a ton of people joining the fire pit on busy nights. Owner sometimes lets off fireworks also ---------- Post added 22-06-2016 at 22:52 ---------- One more tip, could you possibly book yourselves in seperately? It's a shame when groups get tarred becuase of others bad behaviour.
  5. Hi Mayfly - bad protocol but I have pm'd you and have no idea if it worked! **WAVES** No idea how else to grab your attention. My email is jackdawrumbucket AT gmail DOT com. <3 ---------- Post added 27-05-2016 at 08:50 ---------- If you're off to York - make some time to catch the street performances in Kings Square - if you see the York Fire eater (although I believe he doesn't actually fire eat there anymore - just knife juggling on a 14' Unicycle blindfold with machete's ) I guarentee you will enjoy the show. Street shows in York are marvellous All the places in the Peaks are wonderful - as is a gentle stroll down Rivelin Valley, which starts off beautiful and ends up stunning as you walk further along towards the Peaks. And it's free
  6. She was found by a person in Waller Street, drinking from the pond in her garden. She's paid with darker brown legs. We haven't taken her to check if she's microchipped yet as I've only just got back from Glasgow and will be working this weekend.
  7. Sounds more like a dog who'd lost it's owner and maybe decided to make the kids it's new pack?
  8. Eee one is very bitey He's quite aggressive towards us, biting very hard (drawing blood) and I feel it's got worse. We've tried saying no and putting him in a time out cage, struggling to get to grips with scruffing. They've got a big two level cage indoors but have come from an outdoor environment. I'm wondering if it's stress of the move? Any ideas what we could be doing wrong? Thanks!
  9. Hey there, thanks for the replies, we got a couple from a guy who knew what he was talking about. If I work out how I'll upload some pics for a cute fest They're 11 and 12 months in age and one is a bit bitey, so we are trying to train him out of that. He's a clever little thing so hopefully if we do it right it won't take too long...
  10. Hi, We are looking for a couple of ferrets, preferably at least one hob. If they are not neutered we will do this as we plan to keep them as family pets indoors. If anyone could point me towards a rescue, this would be helpful as we are first time ferret owners, and would appreciate them coming from someone who knows what they're doing! Thanks, Jas
  11. Hi, desperately need a dog walker, 3/4 times a week in the Hillsborough area for an older (about 12) male castrated lurcher. He's fine offlead but a bit of a div on the lead, but he's not so bad as he was in his younger days! I'm trying to build up a business so am really stuck on time, also have four children at home and he doesn't get the exercise he needs at the moment. I'm managing 2 or 3 maximum times a week in the evenings but this is geting harder now its darker with children in tow. I can afford to pay 20 - 25 a week which I know isn't a massive amount but really the best I can do right now. Let me know if you can help. Jasamine
  12. Dean, at this stage a percissionist might have to do!
