  1. The greek right imposed a ban on black moustaches in 2009.
  2. When that came out you knew it was the beginning of the end for milliband...twitter had a field day, charlton heston etc.
  3. By hard partying i thought you mant too many nights in zante on the ouzo lol ---------- Post added 15-05-2015 at 01:55 ---------- The right drove greece to the edge, no time for partying, eating moussaka or wearing funny hats...clearly you know little about the greeks.
  4. I dont advocate any socialist gov, just stating a fact. The previous right wing gov put them in this mess, again stating a fact. Austerity to extremes is not popular, socially devisive and the economics behind it dubious to say the least. Investment is required. ---------- Post added 14-05-2015 at 19:25 ---------- Taxation is needed...
  5. And the greeks rejected austerity and appointed a socialist govt ---------- Post added 14-05-2015 at 17:36 ---------- Family members...why? ---------- Post added 14-05-2015 at 17:37 ---------- We dont need austerity. Its fake
  6. Austerity is the feeling you get when you've been run over once and run over again for good measure
  7. Linner That's what I always call it
  8. I heard Tesco were taking a new approach, but like a Ald and making their goods cheaper. Good news for farmers then. ---------- Post added 14-05-2015 at 12:47 ---------- Sorry got a new tablet and the predictive text is a bit keen!
  9. What's France got to do with a stalling UK economy, clutching at straws isn't it ---------- Post added 14-05-2015 at 12:18 ---------- It's a theory..my personal take is full out austerity isn't good for the economy, it has to be balanced with spending at some point. 10 years, because Osborne missed his goal is too long ---------- Post added 14-05-2015 at 12:21 ---------- The only entities who will do well out of this is big business and multi national enterprises, even then when we hit a recession or another gfc it will lead to job losses, cuts everywhere. ---------- Post added 14-05-2015 at 12:23 ---------- My projection is we are 6 to 10 years away from a recession. I will be looking to invest before then and ride the storm out. Just a prediction tho
  10. UK growth is stalling. That's because the cons are 3 million short on jobs created for full employment and the jobs already created are part time, self employed or non jobs. ---------- Post added 14-05-2015 at 11:49 ---------- Come on, UK growth has stalled. .just admit it. The plan is failing and 5 more years of austerity isn't going to change anything. ---------- Post added 14-05-2015 at 11:53 ---------- The UK economy grew at the slowest pace since the final quarter of 2012 in the first three months of the year. Quote from the tory leaning financial times, April 28th. The chart shows a steady decline in the last 4 quarters.
  11. I think it's immoral to throw away billions of tons of perfectly edible food in the name of profit Whereas it's illegal to skip dive but totally moral. Legal and moral do differ. ---------- Post added 14-05-2015 at 11:36 ---------- Someone will be telling you all theft is wrong and you have no morals next... ---------- Post added 14-05-2015 at 11:39 ---------- Plenty of people skip dive, the movement is called freegans I believe. Not something I'd consider but good luck to them
  12. Id be one of them. M and s and waitrose have thought about what people want rather than just profit and hormone pumped chickens. ---------- Post added 14-05-2015 at 12:01 ---------- Sorry but everything from the food to the experience to cust service is inferior in tescos. And aldi and lidl, sometimes waitrose beats tesco on price.
  13. Tescos are losing profit and share price tumbling from what i can gather.
  14. Well if its anything like the express on abbeydale rd, its going to be rubbish. Opens 19th may btw if anyone wants to check it out.
  15. The woodseats store was there 30 years when tescos was actually profitable, why do tescos think s7 is now more profitable in a downturn. The emperors new clothes, my guess is it wont last long.
  16. People lost their jobs at woodseats. Seems a bit odd to then open another store. Maybe woodseats was losing money, although it always looked busy to me
  17. Well done for making that happen, must of been a slow process catching 90 residents in the street! we need more people like you getting things done round here.
  18. New one opening s7 wolstenholme rd. I thought they were closing the one on woodseats and read 44 planned stores were not opening aswell as 40 more closures. Though we had got rid of tescos but seems not.
  19. Next time im going to answer the door in a mask, butchers coat, blowtorch in hand....
