Its not really surprising to see how the women are treated in muslim circles but I have to admire those womens courage in trying to break down long held attitudes.

The MCB didn't seem too helpful and to be honest I think it will be many yrs if ever that women are given due respect and equal rights in their society.

Anyone who questions the figures is regarded as a nazi sympathiser no matter if you show another perspective you are branded.

Having been to the camp on 2 ocassions I was always baffled at the size of the ovens,very narrow indeed,I think the figure of 100,000 is more in line with reality.

Of course now I will get the left acuse me of being a nazi after all anyone who disputes the allied version is a nazi,right.

Those who have actualy been to the camp know far better than those who havent been there in my book.

Just a shame the master race of South Yorkshire has to wait another year or so for this big breakthrough you've been predicting for so long.

 

Maybe if you want to do more then see your vote "hold up" you should spend a little more your election campaigns and a little less on your leaders house extensions and legal fees.

Looking at the figures, the first thing to note is that (according to the link provided earlier in this thread) there was no independant candidate last time round, so you can't start saying that the Lib-Dems pulling out means the BNP were hard done by. Less of the conspiracy theory please Roy, it's just silly TBH.

 

If you look at the figures basically speaking the IND candidate collected up the Lib Dem votes from the previous election and a heavy chunk of the Conservatives past result. Labour and the BNP pretty much stayed the same in % terms which is the key figure to look at across the board especially when you notice the drastic reduction in turnout.

Yes I agree in part with what you say BUT I still would like to know why the LIB DEMS did not run a candidate,so come on you Lib Dems councillors on here maybe you know why?

The independant like I have said before was the unknown factor and did well in the vote,I know that the independant was running on a quite right wing agenda on certain issues and it could have impacted on our vote,just a thought.

Still to see our vote hold up and increase a little is heartening for the future,im sure the party will contest it again.

Having read the 'details' on Indymedia royjames I think it safe to observe that they haven't posted anything about you which isn't already in the public domain and easily obtainable via SF. They've not provided your address or telephone number and the only photographs are those which you've chosen to make public yourself. There were no threats.

I wont go into too much detail for legal reasons except to say there was indeed threats made and as far as asking people to telephone my work which wasnt by the way in the public domain to get me removed well thats ok isn't it because of who I am,hypocrisy.

Anyway seeing as its ongoing I wont comment again .

Now back to last nights result,the party did not win the seat although it came a healthy second.

BUT the main surprise or maybe not such a surprise was the LIB DEMS did not field a candidate,now we have seen this before when the main parties get together to keep the BNP out by withdrawing a candidate who might split the anti BNP vote,it worked but they wont be able to do this when the council elections are in full swing next year.

So all you LIB DEM voters,sorry but you cant have the right to vote for your party as they would rather not stand a candidate in order to keep out the BNP,and they have the cheek to talk about the BNP and democracy.

At the last local election she came very close to taking the seat ,she has a good chance to win it this time,the only worry is the independent vote,not sure how that will pan out.

I will say this and my BNP friends know what I think ,I have no doubt she will be the first to win in South Yorkshire,she has the pedigree and campaigns on local issues above anything else.

Marleen in not everyones cup of tea but I suppose at the end of the day she is fighting for the party but mark my words she will be the first to win locally.
