The hardnosed capitalist front runners are the saddoes you see in public libraries on the computer banks. Or skivers taking advantage of perks, that by their very abuse of them will get all their colleagues stopped off from them.

add carrots, potatoes and some meat, simmer for two hours, and the smell of the stew will mask the paint odour, and you will have a nice supper.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/thereporters/gavinhewitt/2010/10/french_battle_of_wills.html This is beginning of the end it seems to me. The very ones that crippled us, the bankers, are now laying down the terms. The French are leading the way, and their own government is making laws against them. How can a government have the audacity to make laws that the people do not want? The one whose name cannot be spoken brought in the Poll Tax, that had to be removed because of popular desent. The French government is now saying it has to punish its own people to keep up the backsides of the Bankers. This cannot go on.

I think really you just have to wait for the paint to set. I dont what the fumes are but they give me the headache something cruel. I will ask our painters on monday, if any short term cure, but it will be alright by then I would think.

We used to do that across the backyards down Heeley, as it was all hills, great fun. But we meant no harm by it, we would never have done it if people were likely to be hurt. Generally it was us who were hurt, from burns etc. -
His name was deLongchamps, but it became corrupted Longshanks, as he was a tall man for the time. (who called me a pedantic ****?, I distinctly heard it there :hihi:)

In love with 4 different girls - advice needed

Every man, and espescially adolescent man, falls in lust with every attractive woman he meets. This why women have such an easy time on this planet. You can wind us round your little fingers. It is when that lust turns to love that the trouble starts. When two become one, sparks fly. That is why so many of us stay together, as Burton and Taylor, cant live together, cant live apart. Marriage, an institution. That is, we should be in an institution. -
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-11557578 Chilean president to visit Cameron. One billionaire meeting another. Cameron will be glowing even redder in the reflected glory of this man.

No, he was the one of the red hot poker up the bum, and a disgrace to his father. Edward the First was 'The Hammer of the Scots', (and everyone else for that matter)

This is the now, it is deja vu all over again, to try to make light of it. Groundhog Day. There is a saying about history, something about if you dont learn from the mistakes of the past, you are doomed to repeat them. Well the people of this country have done just that. They have allowed through the back door, the most useless bunch of neer do wells into power since that which cannot be named.

I wonder how long it will be before our government imposes a news blackout on this? As they did during the 'troubles' in the 80's. They dont want anything to disturb our nice little slide into serfdom do they?

I know loads of men who could, scores, if not thousands. Being a man is a state of mind, and in adversity you must react like a man. Men do not crack at the least little thing. These men are Miners, and just as Soildiers and Seamen know that their comrades would never give up on them, so they knew that help was on its way. How do you think they survived so long? It certainly was not by fighting like ferrets in a sack, and acting like divas. If that had been the case they would all have been dead at the end of day one.

Doucement. You sailing close to the wind.

These men were a team, who had worked together for long enough. They knew each others strengths and weaknesses. They had a good leader, who kept a lid on it all. All I can imagine is that people who say they lost it have never been part of a team. That is what it means, teamwork. Working together for the best outcome. If it had gone on for much longer, then it may have come unravelled. But it didnt did it?
