Hello
Yorkshire Husky Meets has been set up to arrange a Husky/Malamutes walks once a month in different parts of Yorkshire, this is a great chance for Husky/Malamutes (All other medium and large dogs breeds also welcome) owners to socialise their dogs and meet new people.
All owners are responsible for their own dogs behaviour and actions, please be aware that the meets will be held in areas that are also used by other dog owners, hikers, cyclists and horse riders, so please be considerate and respectful whilst on the walk.
As a group we do not advocate letting Siberian Husky's off the lead unless in an enclosed safe area.
Please inform the walk organiser if you dog has known aggression towards other dogs or people, this isn't a problem as the meets will help socialise your dog anyway just helps other dog owners be more cautious with their dogs.
Every effort will be made to ensure that the walk has toilet and refreshment facilities near by, I will try and do a test run of the venue or ask a group member to check the venue out before the meet.
Yorkshire Husky Meets is not linked to any animal rescue or charity, the meets are for dog owners to enjoy amazing landscape and socialising with other dog owners and pooches, anyone is welcome on the meets from any animal rescue, charity or other animal walking groups.
Thank you
