  1. Silver, you're a star! Now for another : you haven't got the number out of the paper have you? or for Olive Grove? :D :D
  2. Trying to get hold of some job details for a friend, something to do with Firstgroup? Valeting buses & coaches? Thanks!
  3. If you have time, I'd recommend something from Asda (etc) like 'glo-white' I think it's called?
  4. I've had the same thing, there's a minimum period before you can claim back through paypal. I'd recommend getting something else.
  5. I'm with Stagewalker on this one, if your name if on the logbook, it's yours. I know it can be tricky with family though, what about agreeing usage of the car? IE your brother has it for a week if you have no plans?
  6. You'd have to buy the car back after the write it off, once a car is a total loss, it becomes the property of the insurance company. If you have no claims protection than it won't affect that (sounds like your first claim) but it may affect your premium even though you have protection - many people aren't aware of this but it CAN. I'd recommend getting some quotes on how much it'll be to repair yourself, in the long run it may work out cheaper to do it that way!!
  7. I've gotta say, the original thread made me cry, I'm crying again now due to the edit! I'm so, so pleased for all your family, I wish you all the very best for the future. <massive hugs> Pert
  8. You animal Jabber. I have a question: If you need to break wind and don't, what happens to it? is it absorbed by your body?? Out of interest, I've wondered this for years!!!!
  9. Have you tried confused<dot>com? If you don't have much of value (apart from PC n bike) I'd go for lowest poss cover, ie 20k-ish, make sure that if you have things like MP3 player, mobile etc that cover for personal possessions is included (if you want it). Always ALWAYS check your XS as well - no good getting cheap cover with a £500 excess!
  10. I don't wanna go and buy a book, I want to start. Any recommendations? I was thinking fruit, veg & water for a week, then reintroduce foods slowly?
  11. There's a place near the Wicker, it's locally known as the 'woodyard' but not sure of the actualy name, they're cheaper & nicer than B & Q. If I find out the name, I'll PM you.
  12. I ordered a postacrd off Ebay and I'm wondering now if I could have it copied? I'm thinking that there may eb a problem with copyright thingies, although the card is approx 40-50 yrs old? If I can, does anyone know anywhere that does good quality copies? Thanks in advance!!!
  13. I donate when I can, I need to go actually. I've also signed the petition!
  14. Bless you. I can't offer advice, I just hope you start to feel better soon, I do believe there'll be a light at the end of the tunnel. Take care. <hugs>
  15. Looking for some quotes for knocking a pantry out - anyone know any good builders who'll give me a quote? Cheers!!!!!
  16. I'm looking for somewhere to climb indoors? I think there might be somewhere near Bramall Lane, but don't know what it's called and stuff? Thanks!!!!!

  18. That timer thingy for playing music? it's like an arm that you can make move slower or faster? something to do with rhythym? Please help - it's driving me mad cos I can't remember what it's called!!!

  20. BUT VM have bought the rights to Lost from the new series, so they'll be able to show it on whichever channel they like!
  21. So, out of curiosity, what if you're NOT comfortable with your sexuality?? I once knew someone who was COMPLETELY homophobic. However he regularly attended & was known by name at The Cossack, Dempseys etc etc etc. He showed extreme violence towards women & is very dominating. I'm not getting more details, but my personal view on this is that he's gay and due to whatever reason he wouldn't / couldn't admit it?
