Many Thanks for the advice. We were referred to Child Dermatology who could';t get to the bottom of it after a few sessions. They then referred us to Child Psychology who very quickly agreed that my daughter is a happy and content little girl. We've been through this cycle (Doctor>Child Dermatology>Child Psychology) twice now and still no further on really, although I realise that everybody in the medical profession has tried their best. The marks seem to come up every 2 - 3 months but we cannot put our finger on anything (food, environment, activity at the time etc.) which may be the trigger. Do you happen to recall the name of this Specialist please? I'd be very keen to contact contact this individual. Many Thanks again for the reply - very much appreciated.

My daughter of 8 has had some skin problems for the past few months and it seems to be bafflling our GP and the Doctors to whom she has been referred. They have concluded that she is allergic to house dust mites but the marks on her face and arms may not be a manifestation of this and these may be caused by some underlying stress. She's a happy and confident child, so I'm not sure about the latter part. I would like to have a consultation with another Professional and wonder if anbody out there has any recommendations please? Thanks in advance.
