  1. many thanks northbank. My sister was told she could have a max of two nights on Hospital accomadation .. But I will ring them on monday and clarify exactly what the rules are. Thanks again some darn helpful people on here, been amazing the advice and help I have received ... It is very much appreciated
  2. Thanks Hannah, I will be looking there to, it does seem a bit of a minefield of who to go to and use. there is enough choice. once again thanks to everybody ...nice to see there are still kind helpful people out there.
  3. I will remember the bus times ...and make sure she does know. Thanks Poppy for the PMs brilliant and greatly appreciated.
  4. Dropped the Garrison an email explaining .and asking if a deal could be done on a single room ... many thanks people you all have been more than helpful. now on to trains a minefield of prices and difficult to give her an exact price .. will plumb for an average and saying deals can be hunted down. once again many thanks very much appreciated believe me, sadly I don't think that much can be done for Bro in law.. was having a cist removed in Addenbrookes, then two days after he died, they brought him back to be dead from the neck down. Trying to find out what hell went wrong, is like hitching a lift to the moon ..
  5. many thanks people I just had a butchers at the Garrison and contacted them. I have been to both football stadiums in the past, that is about my knowledge. Thank Poppy for the PM cannot answer as haven't enough posts. I am finding it difficult to try and put all this together for her, she has no computer. But so far the Garrison sounds the one for me. but will try and offer her an alternative. which of the premier or travellodges would be the better one for travel access ? sorry to be a pain
  6. morning. My brother in law is being moved to the Spinal Unit in your fair City,in approx 2-3 weeks. my Sister will be needing a hotel as close as possible to the unit. She is in her 70s and quite ill herself, so she won't be able to get around as well as some of us younger ones. A Consultant who came down to Norwich to speak with her said there was a travelodge on a bus route from the Unit. that would seem a good bet. Also is there is type of system to help patients relatives around someone who could perhaps help out with support or whatever. Appreciate advice and perhaps some directions and locations would be fantastic
