More burglaries in Stannington last night
BLONDEBRIGHT replied to UpYonder's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Burglary this afternoon between 2 -3 pm on Red Oak lane Stannington.Drilled out lock. Broad daylight, house located on a public footpath. -
That's brilliant! I too have been a member for many years. My only fault is stopping going when i get to target! This time I am determined to maintain the weight. When I first started I only had 1.5 stones to loose. This time I had nearer 6. I love my group so it will be much easier to keep going and hopefully keep it off for good! Happy New year!

Would just like to Recommend the Stannington Slimming World group or any SW group come to think of it! At this time of year I know people feel a little less slim than usual and Slimming world will definatley make you feel better, even if only for the social and laughter side of it! I joined in September and have lost 3 stone and even though I still have some way to go, without slimming World I would be much further in the dumps now the festive season is over. If you have some poundage to loose I would give it a go! I love my food and never go hungry.. not in the last 3 months anyway!

From Stannington I walk past Dysons and up the hill through Dungworth and down to the dam. I walk back down Loxley road, back down Rowell lane and then back up the hill to Stannington. I am not very fit but the 2 hills are a decent challenge. Im usually out about an hour and a half and cover approx 5 miles.

The 2010/2011 snow Megathread
BLONDEBRIGHT replied to Bethsmummy's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
I awoke to a phone call that my place of work was closed. I wasn't over the moon as it meant I had to stay home and entertain a lively 4 year old. I received a phone call from my parents who i casually asked "Have you got everything you need?" came the reply " We could do with some milk and bread if you get tot he shop" my parents live only a mile away bit it is down hill and with the heavy snow the trip back up the hill is a difficult one with a 4 year old in tow! I asked my Dad "Dont you have any milk?" he says "yeah a bit of semi for my tea, but i like full fat on my cornflakes" after biting my tongue, i wrapped up warm and set off to the local shop. When I arrived it was like the busiest I had ever seen the Local Co-op. I went to the fridge and in front of me was a single small carton of milk (the last one) I picked it up and then glanced to my left where a small old lady was looking at me with her puppy dog eyes. "did you need milk?" I asked. "yes my luvvie" she replied I had already thought about buying the milk and reselling it outside for a quick fiver but instead I gave the milk to the old lady. Good deed done. I bought a Kit Kat and left the shop. One last job to do before i trotted off home, I called my Dad to let him know they had sold out of milk and he would have to have an alternative breakfast! Saved my legs and the little old lady was very happy. Good deed done! -

Deep snow - Have your child taught by any teacher?
BLONDEBRIGHT replied to duckweed's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Lets just hope OFSTED the visit in September then! Although last year we were issued a code for Snow which didn't affect the overall attendance figures Attendance Manager -
I purchased a voucher from my city deal (groupon) for laser teeth whitening £100. Should have been £350. Went to Red House clinic in Rotherham. Total waste of money, no difference what so ever. I would also like to know a place I can have them done with noticeable results. I have contacted Red House clinic (lots of times)no response as yet?
