  1. 'Polish Express was established in October 2003. Since then our newspaper has grown into the biggest Polish weekly newspaper published in the United Kingdom. Thanks to our cooperation with distribution companies such as WH Smith News, Menzies, and Dorson our newspaper is distributed throughout whole United Kingdom.' WH Smith could have some then.
  2. I reckon Champs will probably be showing it, although I have no idea why I'm posting this as 80 minutes of the game have gone!
  3. Well I'm sorry I have to live! No chance, I have money so I'll spend it on my bus fare.
  4. I probably would if there were any open at that time. Isn't that also inconveniencing the shop keeper too? Whoever you give it to for change is going to be annoyed. And what if I don't want any mints?
  5. Take now for an example. I have 17p to my name until I get paid on Friday. Payday finally arrives, what do I do in the morning when I want to get the bus to work? Take £10 out the cash machine and rip a two inch sqaure off it for the bus driver?
  6. The man who died was the dad of my mate's brother's friend. Condolences to the family.
  7. I've used a £20 note before for a £1.60 fare on the tram. It's not my fault if I have no change on me, and the only way I can get some is by going to a cash machine where the smallest I can withdraw is £10. If you offer the £10 or £20 then you are more likely to get on free too.
  8. Just been around it in a taxi. There's around 5 or 6 buses and a few lorries parked up that can't get around the diversion. Seems like there were 7 or 8 stationary police cars with a normal car in between them. Seemed more like someone had been pulled over rather than an accident.
  9. Surely people would be better off going to Bargain Booze for alcohol? That's open until more or less midnight and will probably be cheaper.
  10. It's all the same as before. Other countries change theirs so it stays the same. For example: Summer: England (British Summer Time +1), Germany (Central European Summer Time +2) Winter: England (Greenwich Mean Time +0), Germany (Central European Time +1)
  11. Because we'll end up like America. If the police carry guns criminals will too so they can keep up with the police.
  12. No. France change their clocks too so we are still only one hour behind.
  13. It said £110 on the destination list he got out. Not too fussed anyway, was better than spending 6 hours in a train station and I went halves with my mate.
  14. Return train ticket for £20 or two taxi trips totalling £200? Easy choice. When I came back from Seville I missed the last train from Manchester Piccadilly, a one way taxi to Sheffield cost me £110.
  15. A few people where I work had no annual leave left so were allowed to have it as special leave! (Paid leave)
  16. That's what quite a few Muslims do at Eid, why shouldn't we do it too? Have four or five friends at work who are Muslim and on Monday morning they all said they eat way too much during Eid and did plenty of partying etc. Also, if I celebrated Christmas in an Arab country I wouldn't be permitted to drink alcohol and get boozed up anyway.
  17. Yes I would celebrate it. But I wouldn't expect time off work as I'd be in a country where more or less 99% of the people don't observe it.
  18. Would be handy if it went up to Woodseats. I'm sure a fair few people would use it, but it's all up hill out of town.
  19. They obviously hang around there waiting for their methodone. Went past on the bus the other day and a man was on the floor in the phone box
  20. Meadowhell. Old people, chavs and general scum under one roof. No thanks.
  21. They hang around there all day, so what difference does it make at night when everything is shut? Everyone has to suffer because of the bloody tramps.
  22. It's daft, why don't they just leave the doors open if there are overnight trains!?
