  1. Unfortunetly, I don't speak English well because I'm foreigner. But I would like to know about the exhibition more. ---------- Post added 28-03-2014 at 22:41 ---------- Hi, As far as I know museum is called Weston Park. ---------- Post added 28-03-2014 at 22:50 ---------- ---------- Post added 04-04-2014 at 12:19 ---------- Hello all, I regret I was wrong. Metalwork Collection is not in Weston Park. It is in Millennium Gallery. There is a trade catalogue advertising the products of Walker & Hall Ltd in Millennium Gallery. Date (Made/Found): around 1929. Accession Number 2007,32. Has anybody seen the catalogue? Are there any tea glass holders in it?
  2. Has anybody been to the Metalwork Exhibition in the museum? What can you tell about it?
  3. Roman Holiday is the best film I`ve ever seen. It`s a romantic comedy directed by William Wyler. It was the first major role of Audrey Hepburn which made her a well-known actress. She received Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations.
  4. hillsbro a lot of thanks for your help. There is a similar (but not same) tea glass holder with a same monogram in Russia. An owner of that item is not I. We think this is not a family monogram and one of a retailer or a company which used those items. I show that tea glass holder when I'll have more 5 post. ---------- Post added 07-03-2014 at 18:54 ---------- Steptoad, your version about a shape of the handle is very unusual!!! I hear it first time. Both the handle and the item are silver plated. ---------- Post added 08-03-2014 at 23:24 ---------- Dear Disco Stu, My tea glass holder has no price. My grandfather was using it for drinking of tea. My father liked it. I'll never sell it. The tea glass holder is priceless!!! ---------- Post added 17-03-2014 at 22:52 ---------- I have got a photo of the other tea glass holder of Walker & Hall. It was made in 1915 and has a monogram which looks like the monogram on my item. I cannot post that picture because I get the following message: "In an effort to reduce spam on our community, we require that you make at least 5 posts before you can include a web link in your posting." I think there are three Cyrillic letters АМП or four Latin letters AMST in the monogram. This isn't a family monogram. It could be a corporate one. Which one do you think it is? Can anyone help me post my photos in my topic? Thanks in advance.
  5. Hi hillsbro, thanks for your reply and your wish to help me. I hope that I could post photo on SF soon.
  6. Hello all, I have a tea glass holder of Walker & Hall. It was made in Sheffield in 1895. There is a monogram on the bottom of the tea glass holder. I would appreciate it if you could help me decipher it. But I cannot post any pictures of the item and monogram because I am a new member of SF. ---------- Post added 06-03-2014 at 22:28 ---------- Could you answer my questions, please? 1. Is this an English monogram? 2. What are initials on the monogram? ---------- Post added 06-03-2014 at 22:30 ---------- 3. Are there any items with similar monogram in the museums of Sheffield? 4. Who was a designer of the item? ---------- Post added 06-03-2014 at 22:31 ---------- 5. Who could know the history of the firm Walker & Hall in the Sheffield? 6. Where are catalogues of W&H? Thank you in advance for your help. ---------- Post added 06-03-2014 at 22:41 ---------- Could the tea glass holder be on ship "Earl Grey" when it came to Arkhangelsk in October 1914?
