  1. The Martyn Brown Band are a Rock & Blues power trio from the Nottinghamshire area. The band has a 25 year history and was originally formed in 1992. The band played on until 2003.   2. The rock and blues juggernaut that is The Gav Coulson Group rolls into Sheffield this Saturday. Highly respected guitarist Gavin Coulson, a performer with many bands, is at The White with his own group. Playing a selection of fine tunes from Deep Purple, ZZ Top, Jimi Hendrix to Stevie Ray Vaughan and Gary Moore amongst many others, a belter of a rock night is on the cards. Our bi-monthly live Jazz session has arrived once again, now officially Sheffield's biggest pub jazz evening A night giving the stage over to a whole host of local musicians and even some international visitors. Expect beautiful ballads right through to burning Be-Bop; meaningful Mainstream to mad Modal; furious Funk to the frightfully Free; lively Latin to luscious Lounge; and classic Cool through to the curiously Contemporary! 8.30pm, free entry.   7. Hosted by renowned musician Chris McMahon of Treebeard, a Sunday afternoon session of folk music. Expect traditional, expect contemporary, expect the unexpected! A fantastic and relaxed afternoon full of great music and amazing musicians. 3.30pm, free entry
  8. THE VEGAS SIX Six steaming rockers, rooted in Yorkshire grit, kicking out pulsing Glam Blues and sleazy ass rock n roll - jabbing a sartorial finger in the eyes of innocent onlookers. Dishing up a slice of Las Vegas - dragged through the mill and the pit, they have a mutual appreciation of faded glamour, audience intimidation and aged whisky. Wielding their instruments and lyrical barrages with no self-regard, they spread the Rock n Roll gospel according to the old gods - like a communicable disease - with all the zeal of used car salesmen. Rock n roll how it should be played - like Gene Vincent meets The Night Of The Hunter. 9.30pm, free entry
  9. Billy, Graham and the lads are with us on Saturday for another night of cracking music from this talented band. True Grit are a Sheffield/Barnsley based band performing hits of the 50's 60's 70's and much more. Always a popular choice at The White, this band knows how to perform and are guaranteed to entertain. Free entry, 9.30pm.

  11. The early evening big jam session, brought to you and hosted by the lads from The Carnival, Little Vegas, Jackson & more. Featuring regular performances from some of Sheffield's finest musicians including True Grit, Grave Danger, Vamp & more - this is a jam session like no other. Full backline and PA provided and a chance for you to show us your stuff as well as just enjoying the spectacle. 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month - 5pm until 8.
  12. Vamp, playing now for over a decade, are a South Yorkshire based band that gig all over the North of England. Highly entertaining, they play a mix of 'Good Time' Classic Rock songs along with a few of their own mixed in. The band are also a 'Digital Free Zone', playing Vintage Guitars through old Valve Amps.   15. Hosted by Chillo Angelini and Michael Beety from Laughing Gravy, we're proud to present our new bi-monthly Electric Blues Jam. Featuring both stalwarts of the blues scene in Sheffield and further afield, and also newcomers. All abilities are welcomed and full PA and backline provided. 8.30pm start, on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of every month - be prepared for a cracking night of top quality blues and blues rock.

  17. Toastie, Steve and Jason return once more and that means Grave Danger are in the house. Expect to get your socks completely rocked off by this band who keep going from strength to strength. Fantastic kick ass rock classics with a powerful, "take no prisoners" approach. Artists covered include Black Sabbath, The Scorpions, Led Zeppelin, Stiltskin, Saxon, Judas Priest and ZZ Top.   20. Amelia has been enthralling audiences with her strong passionate vocals, singing and playing in various Sheffield bands for a number of years. But now, she has decided that it's time to lead her own band. "...It has been said that Amelia has probably one of the finest voices in the country. She makes her mark with a blues mama attitude and a sultry mix of velvet and grit. She delivers all the drive and passion that marks quality". With influences from Janis Joplin, Dusty Springfield, Etta James and Ella Fitzgerald to Robert Plant, Paul Rodgers and Ronnie James Dio ... she refuses to be pigeon-holed into one musical genre and continues to develop and fully explore the extents of her vocal range; from powerful rock, through soft jazz, to soulful blues." 9.30pm, free entry.
