R.J.Greaves of Blues in Britain Magazine rated their album Money to Burn, 9/10, and recommended, "a great act to catch live." Expect traditional, expect contemporary, expect the unexpected! Each month features a special guest performer and this month it's Paul Pearson. Affectionately known as the Steel Town Troubadour, Paul, from Sheffield, specializes in taking songs from excellent but obscure songwriters and turning them into PP Originals. If the names Ron Trueman-Border, Paul Jones or Tom Pacheco mean anything to you, you'll be aware of the quality of the material. If you've witnessed Paul's natural, controlled aggression and sheer passion, you'll know it's an explosive combination. The band formed in the early '90s and has since become well established in South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire as one of the top rock cover bands in the region. It's fitting then that we'll be using the day as an opportunity to help raise funds for George Parson's Memorial Bench. How are we doing this? Not only will we be starting that little bit earlier but we'll also be having all manner of fundraising activities on the day. If the weather's nice then we'll even chuck in a BBQ!
