Came damaged and sections missing was in a bad way so just bit the bullet and bought new. The side roller I had fitted are the new preston ones really smooth to us got them in all 5 top kits with clean caps and skid bungs and elasticsted with dacrons lol went crazy ha ha ---------- Post added 25-03-2014 at 22:09 ---------- I held a few and for me map tks range was amazing best at strength, weight and just all round package

I meant the posts and 8lb main to 2lb bottom being balanced tackle is laughable

Im thinking exactly what you said mate if I can get 6lb carp in on a 2lb bottom witha rubbish avanti im sure I will manage with the maver. Like you say most breakages are doen to pilot error

I dont want a carp pole really its for matches and does come with a power 4/5 section for more strength I will see how I go. Got a match on lindolme on 30th that should test it!!!

So if I get a 5lb 4oz on it will snap thanks for the accuracy analysis.

Surely if I take it steady and play the fish proberly with too much pressure I should land a bigger fish?

I do a bit of allsorts really and been using an avanti 12.5 meter at min and landed big carp on that you you say the maver is better???? I managed to get the maver for 100 quid which is surely a bargain.

Just bought a maver n27 any body know what there like I got it for a really good price come with 5 tops and cupping kit with a new number 4 and a repaired one all with new elastic and pulla bungs and dacron just after a few opinions please Many thanks

Fished a match sunday casters shallow with a .10 bottom biggest fish was 6lb had an awsome day.

Ha ha ha sorry 2ft depth fishing with maggot or caster lol
