  1. Good point Sheridan1-0. Thinking about it I will go for Danny Rohl, with Chris Powell as back room staff. Announced tomorrow is my bet.
  2. If your hive and frames within the hives are approx. 80% full add another super on top. If you look down between the frames and cant see the bottom its full.
  3. From a Blade, at the match, only missed 8 games in 10 seasons at Hillsborough, Wednesday deserved that. From the first minute they were at it, Even before the game music pumping out winding the fans in to the perfect atmosphere. BUT don't, with being 4 nil up after the first game, give a penalty away in the first 6 minutes. From then on the crowd, Management and players knew it was on. Wednesday DESERVE their big day out, as United did in the FA cup semi final. They DESERVE the bus parade, if they beat Barnsley or Bolton They DESERVE the plaudits for a record unbeaten run They DESERVE the credit for 96 points Free tickets, if there was any, was in my opinion a brilliant move, big gamble though, Imagine all those youngsters with free tickets witnessing last night, surely they will be desperate to go again next season. I saw, from a Blade, Keep it up Wednesday, You DESERVED that.
  4. "if we dont go up i would give hime a few months then if we are not in the top 3 a change is needed, what do others think?" But your in the top 3 now...
  5. For me, I'm hoping for a tight game at Wembley, at least the first half, class, form and fitness combined making it a far less tight game in the second half resulting in a 5 - 0 defeat for SUFC. I'm also hoping for a SWFC win and for both Ipswich and Plymouth to drop points. I will then look forward to Luton V Middlesbrough on Monday night where hopefully there will be a low scoring draw, meaning SUFC have less to do, Mathematically wise on Wednesday night. I will then look forward to Barnsley and Bristol City victories on Tuesday night before hopefully a huge celebration on the hallowed turf of Bramall Lane late Wednesday evening.
  6. The commentators have now joined forces with lineker. Will be interesting to see what happens next weekend with live FA cup games going ahead.
  7. Chris Wilder takes his seat until the end of the season...
  8. There was a Quote last night of "There are too many pre-madonna's" THFC lost interest when they turned up, Small changing room, cramped due to the amount of kit they brought. Cold night, raining heavy, 2 or 3 tough tackles going in. There "Top" players didn't want to know. It will be a totally different Quarter final against BRFC who are used to all thing Championship.
  9. We had them beat in the first 15 minutes. The rain started and a couple of crunching tackles is all it took.
  10. Good try Cuttsie, I do however feel i need to fact check on a couple of things you say. "At least old Chansiri pays cleanoing lads and lasses a living wage" ..This is correct but some might argue that the members of staff who were already being paid that wage did not have a pay rise to match. The cleaning staff at SUFC are contracted from an outside company so not really an SUFC issue. On a side note which club topped up the 20% short fall from the covid lockdown?
  11. 2 seasons. What's the point in sacking him now. Who would you replace him with? New manager, new system, new style of play. DM's players might not fit in to the new managers system then the transfer, recruiting starts all over again. In another 12 months the new manager isn't performing and the 12 new players cant get used to the system so new manager sacked again.
  12. In 8 months time the scrappy 3 points against Charlton will be a distant memory but maybe a important 3 points, your right another 2 or 3 scrappy games in the bounce and supporters might get annoyed...
  13. I'm tempted to have a few quid on a comfy 0-2 win for Wednesday, but would be happy with a scrappy 0-1 win, just like Saturday....
  14. I don't think they will face a prison sentence, at the most a hefty fine or some sort of community service, maybe an educational course...
  15. England v winners of Fridays game Tuesday 26th July Kick off is 2000 Attendance approx. 29000 This will mean the road closed much earlier than previous matches for the EUROS at Bramall Lane. I would predict closed about 1600. There is a planned fans walk down t the ground from Devonshire Green approx 1800 This game, as last nights, could go to extra time and penalties meaning the game could finish at 2300. the roads could therefore remain closed until 0100 on Wednesday morning.
  16. Hillsborough put an application of interest in but was turned dawn as the facilities at Hillsborough are not up too standard. In the close season between championship and the 2 seasons in the premiership SUFC spent a lot of money behind the scenes, changing rooms, Hospitality etc.
  17. There are 4 games scheduled to be played at Bramhall lane. 2 kick off at 2000. The other 2, one on a Sunday kicks off at 1700. Before the game the only issue I can see are the fans walking down from Devonshire great approx an hour before kick off. So either 1900 or 1600. The main issues will be after the game when upto 25000 will be leaving the stadium at the same time. If you watch the games a lot of the supporters are children. How many people on here will be "put out" at 2200 on either a Saturday or Sunday night. I totally understand the annoyance for the Wednesday afternoon game at 1700 but you have a week to arrange another route. Even longer for the semi final game.
  18. Had a drive passed on Saturday. Just a few suggestions as to why. The staff accreditation centre is on the corner of John Street and Bramall Lane, twice as many match day staff. The volunteer area is in the players family bar, which is also next to the corner of John Street and Bramall Lane. Supporters from different countries, not knowing the area or road lay outs. They will have the team 2 coaches arriving 2 hours before kick of and supporter coaches to disembark and park.
  19. The times of 12 noon - Midnight are just a guide as the kick off times vary, I image the game that kick off at 1700 the roads will shut at noon and the games that kick off at 2000 the roads will shut at 1500.
  20. Morning all. So where are we up to?. Just a quick recap would be nice. Sufcl2
  21. Go on then. I will. Anyone else?
  22. I was at Eggies 1981 - 1985. Cant recall any of those names though....
  23. Contact the main reception at the ground and ask to speak too a lady called Anna, sorry not sure of her surname. Dave
