The 2 i did last week did, So theres a good chance the OPs new panel has onboard fuse's.

Check fuse F2 on the pcb board (aux & speaker) it has probably blown. ---------- Post added 02-02-2015 at 19:46 ---------- If it is a veritas 8 compact you have installed it will be fuse F3 on the pcb board, check for a short on the power cables and replace fuse (spare should be supplied in a small bag).

I have always used masonry bolts, no need for plugs just drill the correct size hole and bolt direct into masonry.
