  1. Came across the thread by chance looking for another Wardley, an interesting read, well done The Wardley I was looking for had a shop in the same area in the early 80's. The read has left me wondering if this is the same Family as his shop(same business) was possibly on or around Sharrow lane, Wolstenholm Rd area. A ref. to Harold Wilson kept my interest, this also described the Wardley I knew that lived around Machon Bank Rd at the time. He lived with his son Gary whom was a good friend of mine, I left the UK 30 years ago obviously losing contact, any info would be of interest Regards to all 'Wardley' or not.
  2. Yes i know got it wrong i was going to ammend my comments today but you got in first, well done. As i said i could name them all but you, sorry. I'd also realised that you must of stayed at St Peters, i wanted too but as i stated before my main mates were off and i felt i had to. As you stayed you may remember better than i, i asked about twins in our year from Deepcar or Stockbridge any idea's? Regards Sean
  3. Hi Guys wasn't going to get involved but just seen Vince Kenny's name mentioned, he informs me we shared the St peters Link, We're both here in Gibraltar for more than 30 years now, next time I see him i'll let him know he got a mention. I'm 10/12 years younger so you won't know me Regards Sean G.
  4. Well come on then 'Met the queen' tell us more, often wondered what happened to Mick, never had much contact after finishing School....Shame
  5. Just a quick comment on Swift Nicks comment............ Ditto I agree with your words but haven't got all day to write them, well done. Never wrote on this forum before, though had a good laugh at comments made on the post a few years ago, I left in 76
  6. Yes on the back row next to John McCarthy I believe, Tom Shannahan's Mum had a copy made for me via a Mrs Limb. I think you are the only one I couldn't name. Were you in the same year or the year below? ---------- Post added 19-08-2013 at 22:09 ---------- Just going back through pre-posts, you were in my year, I just couldn't put the name to the face so thought you must of been recruited like John Cox or Micky limb So you didn't go to De La Salle then?
  7. Yes that's them, both all right n still in the Sheffield area
  8. Hi Mick, i was there, still remember these guys & many more, unfortunately i pulled my finger out and left for DE La Salle as many of my freinds were intent on going there. After leaving St Peter's apart from my Bro's and twin Sisters, the Galligan's,only contact was with Brian Nally whom sadly drowned just as he was emerging from his shell, in truth being my neighbour i remember him every 10th April with a 'Happy Birthday Brian' Yes i would of been quite happy to have stayed there annoying the girls playing with the tennis ball. Obviously you came from the St Thomas path, as did Deborah Carnell, Mick Bush, Steve Naylor? i arrived via St Patricks so we had some guys we remember better than others. The St Pats Football team of 69 have a good team foto Martin Moore, Joe Clegg, Chris O'Neil, Glen Davison, The Delaneys Bros, can name them all in the photo. Did we have some twin girls from Stockbridge in our year? Paula and ?...... How times have Changed eh! Never saw anyone again, no one. pity there's not more threads out there with people updating profiles etc........... like facebook. I'll check in again sometime, Sorry to all that havent had a mention yet come on throw some more names out there, All the best, Sean.
