Why not save tax payers money and electricity (and so pollution from the power station) by switching off these pointless messages, and saving the energy being used to power the matrix boards. SCC has massive budget cuts so powering signs for purposes that they arent installed for, displaying messages which are going to have no effect on anyone, isnt the best use of funds. Also the council property in millhouses park i believe it is (dont know that end of sheffield but its up there somewhere) had the heating blaring out over the Christmas period all day and night, when there were no workers in there for at least 10 days!!! Lead from the front SCC?

It's daft, I saw somewhere that 90 percent of burglaries are by the same 8 percent of offenders....... no deterent from the courts anymore! I also read only 1 percent of burglars fear been caught by the police (quite how they came up with this statistic is beyond me as I don't think burglars advertise their occupation)

I work in leeds and if your traveling between 7am and 9am the train is quicker, same applies if your leaving between 4 and 6.... I found that when I drive between those times a 35 min journey takes 1 hour 30 plus!

Anyone else noticed, if you do 30 on penistone road like a good little boy, you get stopped atleast twice at one set of lights, yet those who speed, beat the timing slightly and sail through...... great SCC just great!

SYP only have one black bmw x5 in the ARV fleet, the others are x5s in standard livery and two BMW estates. So if they were in convoy, highly likely it's was armed response, they always arrive in 2 or 3s if possible

You can redeam this at the first office at bus station in town, it's been inforce at least 10 months now! Its not a case of not giving change, drivers have afloat of 5pound, meant to be used for giving 30p or 20p change for a 1.70 fare, someone gets on early in the morning with 10 and you don't have enough change they used to get on for free. People started taking the pees and so the companies racted with credit vouchers. If the driver had change he would have given it you as it's a pain for the next driver who takes it back (trust me used to be a bus driver for first) ---------- Post added 03-02-2015 at 12:48 ---------- People forget that you can buy single journeys on London busses in cash from machines on the street pre boarding, they also don't offer change. However with this governments unfair investment policy, the infrastructure required is easily afforded, up here the PTE have had to make massive cuts, no progress for years to come (although the 12 billion pound tunnel from one side of London to another...... obviously a great investment!) that much would revolutionise all travel outside London but is spent on one single upgrade!

I know it won't help but please report it to police, as it goes on the crime stats and makes it harder for them to say crime has fallen.... when actually crime hasn't, number of reports has due to lack of action.
