  1. Hi guys I am after a bit of advice. I have had an ingrown toenail for about 6 months now, and it has been infected twice. Both times I have gone to the doctors and been prescribed Clarithromycin and told to come back to have surgery to remove the offending parts of nail that is making my life hell. However, each time I have been back, I have been told that they only do one toe removal appointment per month, and I have missed it and that I have to wait 3 months for the next free one. Is there anything I can do about this? I would have thought that having had in infected twice already, the doctors would be under some kind of obligation to have this sorted straight away, rather than allowing it to continue and thereby possibly become worse. The infection could spread for example, and if it got into the blood stream it could then cause septicaemia and lord only knows however many other problems. Any advice would be helpful. I dont have the kind of money it takes to go to a podiatrist and get it removed, so I am looking for something that can be offered on the NHS, or a more affordable alternative. Thanks in advance!
  2. I'm up on Park Grange and it looks horrific.
