PERFORMING ARTS SUMMER SCHOOL 2017 It's a full week of acting, singing and dancing, making lots of new friends, learning performance/audition and teamwork skills. Children will gain confidence*with being on stage and having lots fun. Friday performance for family and friends in our own 50 seat theatre. It will take place from Monday*31st - Friday 4th August 2017 Starts at 10am and Finishes at 3pm (early drop off times and later pick up times can be arranged). Age 5-16 yrs £65 for the week. We are based at The Nichols building (top floor). Shalesmoor. S3 8UJ. Right by a bus stop and tram stop. What we do during the week? Each day we will do acting, singing and dance. In theses classes, we will get ready for the end of the week performance. We also do lots of prop and costumes making for the Friday performance. How to book a place with Ecco summer school? If your little one loves dancing around the house. Why not try them in our Saturday morning tots ballet class. It's a very relaxed class where they learn dance thought fun and play. Parents are welcome to join in or just sit and watch thorough the window with a tea or coffee. Every Saturday 9-9.30am Price £3 They can wear anything they like even a princess dress if they like. Music Mayhem is a new class starting at Ecco dance and performing arts centre. Starting on Saturday 19th September 2015. Fun music and singing classes for children aged 3 months to 4 years. Hello Ecco dance and performing arts centre at shalemore does a over 12 street dance and over 12 contemporary class. The street dance is on a Wednesday night 6.45-7.30pm, we do do exams in this but you don't have to take the exams if you don't want to. All pupils perform in a bi-annual show. A.D.F.P freestyle, street dance competition. (Which we have rencetly won 130 trophies at the Lincolnshire championships) Presentation and displays thought out year. 2 studio with mirrors and ballet bars Studio theatre with 50 seat. (We have performed 6 show including Bugsy Malone, Aladdin and Alice in wonderland) Cafe and waiting room with windows looking in to top studio. We have had many children perform on the crucible and lycume theatre and city hall.
