  1. That is terrible, yes that is exactly how I felt just disgusting. ---------- Post added 19-06-2013 at 23:34 ---------- Oh dear, that is disgusting and not looking good for told RSCPA I worked for them last year as well, I volunteered at my local charity shop.
  2. Thank you Tara, I know it is so sad, people who want to keep animals should have to buy a Dog licence like years ago, no licence no Dog. ---------- Post added 19-06-2013 at 21:07 ---------- Not surprising at all, the real reason why the RSPCA are there, no longer holds up now they are all about pestering us for funds rather than actually looking at the fact that animals need rescuing regardless of funds given to them. ---------- Post added 19-06-2013 at 21:10 ---------- It should be government funded, and then there would be a lump sum of money there fro them to use to help rescue injured and neglected animals instead of wholly relying on funds from the public.
  3. I have not heard of that one. ---------- Post added 19-06-2013 at 20:59 ---------- I have heard that is a good one, but I have never seen it. ---------- Post added 19-06-2013 at 21:00 ---------- Sophie's Choice with Meryl Streep, set in WW2 so so sad.
  4. Yes quite possibly, ha ha I never thought of that but I am nocturnal and like the Dark and Night woooooooooooooooo. he he.
  5. Yes good idea, split them into genre's so to speak yes the black and white film adds to the sadness and horror and despair of the situation. The little girl in the Red coat is connoting a meaning what red means love, horror, despair very cleverly done I am just writing a piece at the moment on Schindler's List. Yes The Green Mile just brilliant and so sad, The Boy In The Striped Pyjama's so so sad I wrote a piece on that for my entry at College.
  6. Yes when there is a full moon I act strangely, yes more than usual lol, I am snappy and in such a bad mood.
  7. I was just talking about that film the other day.
  8. What is everyone all time favourite film?? mine has to be Schindler's List not only is it horrific and awful. But they way it was shot everything about that film is just brilliant and Ralph Fiennes as Amen Goth enough said, that was a film that deserved to sweep the boards at the Oscars.
  9. Banana's are an aphrodisiac as well, I love the Nana's nom nom.:banana::banana:
  10. Ahhhh ok, tee hee, lol. ---------- Post added 19-06-2013 at 15:35 ---------- Thank you it is nice to have people who sympathise, and know what you are going through. It is disgusting though, when you have worked all your life it gets my Goat, that is brilliant that you managed to start your own company, I did try and start up a card company, I went to Princes Trust who seemed to want to help me at first but I was made to buy my materials out of my JSA, this was in 2010, when they have grants and loans available. They said when I went on the 4 four day training course that oh yes yours seems like a good idea and we will help you, the Mentor that you have was supposed to come to you and I was told she would but she was only based in Bolsover so I had to travel on two buses to see her, all the time I had meetings with my mentor I was still buying materials out of my own money, I went into the panel meeting for them to decide if I would finally get a loan and the panel were rude obnoxious and said my cards looked cheap what I could not understand is how they had the cheek to say that when they had not supported me financially throughout this programme like they said they would, I was told I could go into a panel meeting again I flatly refused, I was upset devastated and humiliated and I and travelled all the way to Nottingham as well, so would have to travel back there again when I had a date for another so called Panel meeting. I was offered a will it work grant of £60 finally, but these people are suppose to have a good business head how can anybody set a business up on that amount??, clearly they are two bit amatuers who have no idea what they are talking about. I wrote several complaint letters and spoke to David Hogg the director who just made excuses up, I said it still was not good enough and this was not Dragon's Den, your program has never ever supported me financially and then the panel had the cheek to say that my material for my cards was not good enough. I was on JSA, so had to find materials at the cheapest price I did not have the money to spend needless to say Princes Trust will never ever ever get any good feedback from me, avoid them like the plague as I know from personal experience, they are just awful and are a Mickey Mouse organisation with no clue what business really is.
