The park is just off dyke vale road and carr forge road in Hackenthorpe. the 42 first bus from town to crystal peaks drops you a minutes walk from the park, or the 120 will drop you a 5 min walk. the park is under re development and is 10 min walk from the shire brook valley nature reserve.
