  1. Exactly what? Look, I went from one extreme to another. Labour to tory. I'm no "die-hard" when it comes to politics. And certainly no expert, but not stupid as well. I like Farage (for now) i'm intrigued and hoping he can bring some good back into politics.Or at least keep his word. As for our relationship with Europe. They need us probably more than we need them. They aint going to spit the dummy out if we come out of Europe. I despise the euro gravy train. And the way they treat the Cypriots was nothing short of criminal. And if I can be really petty.Have you noticed the size of labels in our clothing now? A bloated institution who treat us all with contempt..
  2. That's true BF..And the big-headed gang leader involved in the burning of young lad got his comeuppance in prison..A nicely weighted dumbbell over his head..
  3. Still game is brilliant! I have the box set..
  4. He doesn't want foreigners out the country. What consequences? I have voted for labour and tory in the past. It's time for me to give UKIP my vote. I like Farage. I hope he don't let me down like the lying idiots i voted for in the past.
  5. And what about the white scottish teenager beaten to a pulp, then set alight until he died? A hate crime carried out by young muslim men. Or the old irish guy in Glasgow coming home with his fish supper kicked to death by young muslim men shouting "kill the white scum" as he lay defenceless and dying yards from his home.
  6. How would you know the contents of said tabloid?
  7. Since the scottish government introduced a ban on "alcoholic multi-purchase" discounts. The number of people admitted to hospital due to "acute" intoxication has risen dramatically! People are binge drinking more than ever.
  8. I live in Glasgow and "yes" it is renown for violence, murders etc: But, overall the people are really friendly and so similar to Sheffield folk.
  9. Buying friends is never a good thing. It screams desperation and insecurity.
  10. Jeez! Non-story. I'm "LOGGING" off now..
  11. I was born in Sheff 8. So it's nice to hear the area is still upmarket..
  12. How do you know he's called Cyril?
  13. There's one in the dementia home my partners mum resides at.(no,it aint a resident) haha. It comes in the open window into an old guys bedroom. It helps itself to his fruit/nuts etc: Then away it goes.Sad,but funny thing is the old man never complains because he can't remember he had any fruit/nuts in the first place.
  14. You can add Glasgow to the cities you list. ---------- Post added 04-06-2013 at 20:26 ---------- Well put...........
  15. Haha! What a plank you are. So the dozens of commuters who pile on the busy Ayr to Glasgow train should all descend on the poor ticket collecter at the same time...Yeh great idea. I'm sure it would be chaotic. And just to make it clear to you mr/mz know-it-all...The sign at the station states..If the ticket office is closed (there aint one) and if the ticket machine is out of order (there aint one) then please purchase your ticket on the train from the conductor. Finally clever clogs...It don't matter if the trains are bursting with passengers all day everyday. Ticket prices still increase.
  16. No i don't. The station i board at has no ticket machine,or ticket office. If the "on-board" ticket checker can't be arse to work his/her way through the carriages quick enough, then i aint going looking for them. ---------- Post added 01-06-2013 at 17:20 ---------- See post 26.....
  17. It can be to one's advantage sometimes. I can get the train from my station and travel 20 minutes without a ticket collecter checking tickets. I don't dodge paying, but I aint going hunting for a collecter. Saves me about £6.
  18. No.. I got advice from B n Q guy. Forgot to mention 16 ceiling lights in her living room don't work too. So I reckon it's got to be dodgy wiring. I hope it's not a fire hazard??
  19. Yes the bulbs are the right one's. She bought the house last year and the guy who owned it was an amateur diy-er by the look of a lot of his work. Thanks anyway..Will get a sparkie to take a look. ---------- Post added 01-06-2013 at 10:22 ---------- Thanks for that mate..
  20. Hi everyone. Just a wee problem,so a bit of help would be nice. I replaced a dozen light bulbs in the girlfriends kitchen. The one's inset into the ceiling. However,a few days later 10 of them stopped working. She said the kettle blew up (I know,i laughed too) then the lights went out. I had a look at them a few days after and the bulbs do come on when I tap them. So is this easily fixed? Is it the wiring? Or doe she have a poltergeist? Thanks in advance..
  21. The plot thickens.I heard today it's been won by someone,or syndicate in a small Scottish town just outside Glasgow...Hmmm!
