  1. Allan from Aspire did my garden, looks lovely so would recommend him to anyone. http://www.aspirelandscaping.co.uk.
  2. I would like to recommend Chris McVann of MAC Plastering. He came round on time when he said he would, gave a detailed quote and did an excellent job boarding and plastering my bathroom. He put down floor covering to protect my carpets, tidied up after himself and was really polite. He explained exactly what he was going to do and why. I have already asked him to do my kitchen ceiling and will be recomending him to others.
  3. I've used this place a few times now and think it's great. I lived in Italy for a long time and really miss the food. This is as near to authentic as I have eaten since I came back, in fact the meatballs are even better than my Italian mother in laws! Good prices too.
  4. I have just bought a house which was on the market with Haybrook in Hillsborough and can recommend them. They kept me up to date with what was happening, aimed to get the best price for their client and were always available when they were needed to be contacted. I never want to move again but if I did I would probably use them.
  5. I have just used Beaumont Legal in Wakefield. Everything was done on line, phone and post. They were very quick, efficient and the cheapest around. I honestly cannot fault them, they were better than any other solicitor I had used previously.
  6. I have been a few times now and just love it. The food, service and atmosphere has been perfect each time.
  7. I am feeling very unsupported at the moment, not by the agencies that genuinely want to help families with children with special needs but by the council and their special educational needs transport policy. I have just been informed that my son will no longer be able to have transport from his special school to his childminder two afternoons per week as it is not where his child benefit is paid. He doesn't use transport at any other time because I take him and pick him up on my non working days, but he has been going to his childminder since he was three and has had transport there since 2007. The response by Karen Chester who is supposedly the person in charge of SEN transport was less than sympathetic - just telling me to make other arrangements. If only it were that easy! The driver and escort have no problems at all taking him and the minibuses are not full. I have no one else to collect my child and due to his needs a new childminder is not an option. My son truly benefits by being with mainstream children on those afternoons and I feel so angry that it doesn't make any difference financially to them if he goes to his childminder or to our home but they don't care.
  8. Hello. I have to say I have found Staves to be excellent. I had around 20 viewings on my property within 6 weeks or so and it has just sold. My neighbour also sold his with Staves in even less time. I've found the market to be really tough going though. In the end I reduced my asking price and accepted an offer lower that that but at the same time I got the house I am buying for a reduced amount so it evened itself out. I honestly don't think its a problem with Staves maybe just a bad time for selling houses and maybe the price given the current market? Good luck anyway. X
  9. Splodge is safely home now. Thank you sooooooooooooo much once again for taking him in and looking after him. XX
  10. I know, that is the only thing worrying me. Sometimes in the dark his eyes look pinky red so it might have been that, but he hasn't got pink eyes. Fingers crossed.
  11. Hello I think (hope) that the rabbit is mine. He went missing from Newlyn Road on Saturday night and he fits the description you gave. He has got lop ears, bluey/dark eyes and is friendly. Could I come and have a look at him? If it is him thank you so very much for looking after him, I would hate to think something awful could have happened to him, he is such a lovely bunny.I'll PM you my number. Thanks Ruth
  12. I had the same problem for over a year with my 2 cats. I tried frontline, spraying the house and frontline combi but it didn't make any difference. It was very expensive and my older cat pulled his fur out infrustration. In the end my vet gave me a different type of flea killer called Advantage and I sprayed the house absolutely everywhere with some spray from the vets. That seemed to do the trick. Good luck, I know how you are feeling!
  13. I second the London Club, it would be perfect for such an occasion.
  14. I can recommend Danny Clayton (Danny Boy on here!). I approached him when I had to remortgage as a single applicant and had been turned down by my current mortgage provider. He found me a great deal with Northern Rock, reducing my monthly mortgage and loan repayments from over a thousand pounds to less than three hundred! Obviously everyone's circumstances are different but I found him great to deal with and everything went through smoothly.
