Shallow..Humans are shallow im afraid.. Even in this day and age, having someone financially stable is a serious, and not unreasonable consideration when considering a serious partner.. The unbridled love of the romance books isnt often found in real life..sadly.

I believe your coping strategies are wrong because they involve hurting yourself..Although if youve tried other things I guess theres not much that can be done... Ive also had experience with self harm...Not myself, but someone close to me...She went to a psychologist and was, for want of a better word, cured. It does seem as though youre taking this personally, understandably...but also applying your arguments directly to yourself...Surely you know that there are lots of people who hit things who do so in the blink of an eye...that arent hard to anger and who dont have such respect for life...

People who cut themselves in such instances also claim it works...Wouldnt you say it would be a good idea for such people to see a doc? It may well work great for you...All i suggested was seeing a doc who might be able to get you to cope internally so you dont have to risk breaking your hand every time you get angry. Well by doctor I actually meant a psychologist... Ah yes...another example of the 'You dont do the same things as me so it must mean that you have the emotional capacity of a brick' defensive line.. I neither cry when im sad nor punch the crap out of things when im angry...So that means im emotionless right? The only time you feel more than me is when you break your hand punching a brick wall.

We are in rather a mess at the moment...If we only care about British troops then fine, pull them out and see Iraq go even further down the toilet...If we care for Iraqi lives as well..then something else needs to be done.. Personally I havent the first clue what we should do...but those criticising should be able to present a viable alternative.
