  1. Found today (Sunday 4th Feb) near Norfolk Park (S2). Brown and white. Chip details are out of date so can not trace the owner this way. Please reply if you have lost the dog.
  2. Ofo have a customer service email ([email protected]) and number 080810171141 for reporting bikes that show on the app but cannot be found. Reporting these missing bikes is a bit of a faff in that they tell you to relaunch the appt and then report back if there's a problem. You then have to take a screenshot of the location on the map. More than a week after reporting two 'ghost' bikes they are still showing on the app. It's a bit like looking for a geocache (i.e. no fun and pointless).
  3. Would definitely avoid kwik fit. Although the MOT garage told me I would only need two new tyres in the next few months, kwik fit replaced all four when my wife took the car to them. Also their drive in prices were more much higher than booking in on line and they talked her in to wheel balances. They probably did twice the work they need to at twice the price. Divorce is pending.
  4. Perhaps so if you are a diehard supporter. I'm not but I now live 15 minutes walk away from the ground and am looking for a club to watch. If it takes me half an hour to get a ticket to get into the ground or I have to call in days before the game then I'm unlikely to go (anyway I only decided to go 45 mins before ko). So it is SUFC's problem if they lose potential new supporters through slowness in the ticket office. There were also plenty of frustrated regulars around me in the queue who said they usually got a ticket in a few minutes and the wait for pre-paid tickets seemed to be equally as long. So I think SUFC do have a problem. Anyway, nice to start with a win but shame I missed it.
  5. Thought I might give watching the Blades a go this season. The queue for tickets tonight was so long and slow moving I gave up because I was going to miss too much of the game. Is it always such a hassle to get in? I'll be back to watching non-league games and walking straight in.
  6. Thanks for your recommendations. I will give them all a go...except making my own:(
  7. Does anyone have any suggestions for where to buy local hand made truffles. One to avoid is Coghlans in Derbyshire whose rather expensive truffles were actually cheap (and still uneaten) chocolates. They did promise to send replacement truffles but they never came. Does anyone have any better recommendations? Preferably not buying over the internet this time. Thanks.
  8. Natalie Harris is in Newark but is well worth the journey and a nice person to deal with. As a new poster I am not allowed to include a web link until I have made 5 posts but here it is to cut and paste to see her work. http://www.nataliejaneharris.com/index.html
