i hate seeing pets free to good home ads and the excuses they make up, ok yes some are genuine but like foxy said i would rather sleep in a tent or sleep rough with my babies than rehome them, if you cant look after a pet be it a dog cat rabbit horse or any other animal for its whole life ( 10-20 years) then dont get one!!

Owner came round to ours looking for there dogs today, told them they was at spring street and iv let sarah at the pound know they should be coming for them, apparently they escaped off the garden and only live round the corner yet we walked round with them both knocking on doors and no one knew who they belonged to, hopefully they will be able to afford to get them on and make sure they have collars with tags and get them chipped. will update if i get anymore info

i walk a very calm border collie in graves park every morning from around 9.30 for an hour hes about 10 and doesnt mind other dogs he just likes to play with his ball or a stick, i can meet you with him if you want?

R.I.P lil pooch, if i still lived up at batemoor id be out looking for the dog and owner too, my staffy is muzzled when i take him out as hes male dog aggresive hes only been like this since i got my lurcher who is female, i do let him off lead but he always has his muzzle on when out on walks, wish more dog owners with dog aggresive dogs would muzzle them, i hate putting chances muzzle on but id rather him wear that than go and attack another dog. hope the lady is ok

both dogs and the hamster wasnt planned, Chance my 1st foster dog staffy x jrt 3yrs old) i have had now for 2 years, my own 1st dog i couldnt let him go then willow my rescue lurcher x collie (11months) iv had her 3months was supposed to be a foster not anymore shes here for good, and harry the hamster ( my daughter named him ) 1 day when i was fundraising for helping hands dog rescue at pets@home a call came through asking if they had any room for 2 hamsters a young 1 and an older 1 at 9months, they didnt have room for 2 so without thinking i said oh il have the oldest 1, oops big mistake soooo noisy but i dont regret it my daughter loves him, so friendly never bitten, just v ery very noisy!!

I have recently started my own dog walking business i also do cat feeds and cleaning & handling small animals, if u pm what u would like to know il see if i can help u the more dog walkers the better as has been said before the busy time is dinner time when most people want their dogs taking out, i am getting more bookings for cat feeds and small animals at the moment, but i do have a regular dog walk 3 days a week as for it been a great job i love it, wouldnt want to do anything else
