hi skippy heres from an old sheffielder,lived in sydney then mittagong ,worked in bundanoon now i am in qld and love it.my son lives in bulli.

hav been in aus since 1974 and don't mind being called a pom someone surely has to to keep up the reputation of whinging and i do it really well

I remember the rag and bone man on the mauncer in woodhouse used to shout any old rags ,used to beg my grandma for rags and used to get a balloon in return highlight of my life.

ah brings back memories.I remember pond street nora,iva wello and of course good old noddy, used to talk to him on the 8 foot near holgate ave. most of all i miss the hot chestnut stall in the sheffield bus shelter.

we are so close, have to catch up and compare sheffield.

hi no 1machinest Was that the bowling alley with the skaking rink and the nightclub upstairs. forget what it was called,knocked back a couple of barley wines there,no photo id back then. oh the memories.I work in a backpackers hostel in australia now, and meet so many POMs its great I love it.Even getting my accent back.
