The bloke with the maraccas is Vance Arnold aka Joe Cocker. Don't know the others but the bloke 3rd from left looks familiar, it was a long, long time ago!

Guess what, my wife and I are trying the live gigging again, although on a rather smaller scale than in the sixties. Pat was an accomplished singer, not only on the northern club circuit, but also in cabaret and summer seasons working with the likes of Russ Conway. Her professional name was Marianne - don't know if anyone on here remembers her, fantastic fugure, red hair, able to sing anything, country, pop, opera etc. At 66, it's getting a bit difficult to carry or even lift my Musicman amp!

I am after any information regarding this person. She was an actress at the Playhouse Theatre during the 1960s. She died circa 2005 whilst living in Midhurst in West Sussex.

I read your post about having your caravan trashed. I agree keep up the bonds, it's the only way to deter 'trash'. My wife and I had a week in Presthaven Sands, North Wales. The caravan was excellent, so much so that I tried to convince my wife to buy one! She won the caravan holiday on ebay for 100 pounds and when we came home and returned the key we had a very good answer back from the owner. Good luck in the future.

I have been approached by someone from Worcestershire who used to live in Barnburgh, South Yorkshire, with a request to photograph a graveyard in the above church, unfortunately, as I live in the Wigan area now this is not possible. I was therefore wondering if anyone on the Sheffield Forum could help in any way with this matter. Maybe someone lives in or near Barnburgh or knows anyone who does. Thank you.

If someone doesn't like a place then that's too bad but Sheffield as everything unfortunately that can mean brilliant stuff and also poo! The parks are some of the best things about the city, and I won't even go on about the Golden Frame.

When I was 13 I wanted to learn piano but my parents said it would be too expensive to buy one and too expensive for lessons so they suggested guitar. After a 7 year period with one band, a 4 year period with as second and a 3 year period with another I think it probably was a wise choice. I now have 6 guitars and I teach on and off; on and off because pupils are hard to find and harder to keep interested.
