  3. Hi everyone. As a child in Sheffield my family always used Henderson relish. When I married and moved to Dorset in the early 60's we could not get the relish at any shops down there ,so family used to bring it when they visited. After moving to Australia in the late 60's it was impossible to get, so many bottles were dispatched from family, and they always arrived safely. Then when family visited from the UK. it was always include in their luggage. Now, thank goodness it is available in some supermarkets here. How times change.
  4. Little Birdy flying high dropped a parcel from the sky, bye Gumm said the farmer. wiping his eye, how glad I am that cows don't fly.
  5. I have fond memories of the Farm Grounds. In 1955 I got a job there, I was still at school but the annual Star gala was on during the school holidays. I worked on the Fairy floss stall and the hot dog stall for the two weeks of the gala. It was also where I met this lovely boy, who was also working there and who has been my Husband for the past 57 years.
  6. I was only a toddler and don't remember the camp, but I had some doll's house furniture my grandpa had made for me by one of the Italian prisoners. My daughter later had it and now my granddaughter has it and is saving it for her new daughter.

He was a very gentle man who always used to stop the traffic if he saw any one waiting to cross the busy streets. Can you imagine that happening now? They always used to stop for him ,and noone used to bother him.How different times were.
