I'm already with a band but if I can give you a leg up starting/rehearsing It'd be beneficial for me as well as we don't rehearse/play every week and it'd keep my pipes working!

Anyone have a contact number for the person who runs the shop? Ta.

I've started to get an Amazon Assistant pop up every second or so. Doesn't matter which browser or what site is open. I can see it in control panel - programs, but the grey install/uninstall tabs remain grey so I can't click uninstall. I've also started to get a Microsoft pop up only when using E Bay, telling me I've won something or other. I'm using Windows 10. Thanks in anticipation

Natalie, I mailed you after your first post and didn't receive a reply. I understand if we're not what you're looking for, but a mail from you to say so would have been appreciated. -

Experienced bassist seeks new challenge
wassamadda1 replied to Bobthebassis's topic in Sheffield Musicians
Pick the guitar up once every six months and soon lose interest, I'm afraid. Basic chord stuff would be OK. I've been singing in bands for about 18yrs now and I suppose I've taken the easy option and just turn up and warble rather than carry loads of gear around. Would consider backing if needed and would consider an acoustic sideline, perhaps two guitars and vox? Cheers. -

Buying a ford capri - common faults?
wassamadda1 replied to drummer54as's topic in Sheffield Classic Car Group
Camshaft issues are because of oil feeder pipe which runs over the top of the camshaft. The holes in the pipe are too small and become blocked. I think you can get a modified pipe with larger holes or, do the mod yourself, but as Flynn says, the oil change bit is essential, same as any motor. -

Please, please, please give me 10 minutes alone with these useless pieces of excrement. There'd be nothing to sentence after I'd finished with them. Animal cruelty sentencing is a joke. If they can do this to an animal, there a beat away from doing it to a human. -

Bath your own dog service - would you use it?
wassamadda1 replied to H_Hounds's topic in Sheffield Pet Owners
So either one of the two applies to you then re business? Both have applied to me in the past however. Whether it's fair and affordable is a matter of opinion. I think £15 ish is fine. If you can't afford that amount then how do you afford to keep a dog? Some people would rather spend that on fags or booze. I think the dog merits it more than either of those. I must be frivolous because the only time I'd bath mine at home is in the warm weather outside in her tin bath. As the former doesn't apply, I'd rather use HH as I have over the years. There's no way I'd bath mine inside my house. Ultimately, she's a dog and I aint going to get in the same bath she's been in or have her running around the house wet through. It's simply not hygienic. -

Don't be put off by the tight whingers on here that wouldn't be able to find the combination for their pockets. Where would it be based if it did happen? It's a good idea and all the best with it. -
Have a look!

Can Sheffield support more asylum seekers?
wassamadda1 replied to ryder8904's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
ryder uses the word "genuine". If you are genuinely seeking to avoid a conflict you would be absolutely beside yourself to reach safety and would seek to find refuge in the country you first enter. You would not then seek to travel mile after mile to reach another country i.e England. How can a country such as ours provide shelter, food, money etc for thousands of migrants who will then grow in number year on year? Even if we close the doors now (highly unlikely) the numbers who have already reached our shores will multiply quicker than the indigenous population and we will be swarmed (there, I said the bad word). Why is it that the vast majority of immigrants are young men which in itself, has a major implication for the nation? Could it be, as was alluded to last night by one migrant, that the real reason for the migration from Syria is the fact that they would be be conscripted? Unfortunately, we have cowards within most of Europe's governing bodies and certainly one in charge here (PM). Letting migrants enter en masse, merely gives others who are contemplating travelling, the green light to do as they please. Stopping the influx would eventually send out the message that an attempt to get close to Europe is futile which would then stop this farce. Britain has already lost it's national identity. In a relatively short number of years ,it will be unrecognisable. -
I think you can gather from the fact I said I feel genuinely sorry for Leah (OP) that I meant the individuals who ripped her off are vermin.
