A genuine love and appreciation of the Progressive Rock genre is an advantage, we currently have setlist of covers by PINK FLOYD/GENESIS/MARILLION/RUSH/CAMEL and are looking to include originals. We require a keyboard player or guitarist  interested in rhythm playing, synthesis and textures as well as lead and can share duties with our current guitarist to complete the line-up.

Hi,  we're a band looking for keyboard player, we play prog rock covers, not looking for lots of expensive gear or particularly technical prowess, just a reliable team player that enjoys playing this music live a few times a month, maybe with view to developing originals.  Let me know if this appeals to you and we'll set up an audition.

Unique Opportunity

We're an established prog covers and originals project based in South Yorkshire. You must have a genuine love/appreciation for Marillion/Floyd/Genesis/Yes/Rush and the genre in general, able to commit to practice most weeks in Sheffield (when we're able) and gig weekends mainly, no less than 2 or 3 a month average (about 30 a year is ideal) We rent our own room and if you have to travel from another town to us we will pay the rent for you. We have our own full PA and monitoring.

We're all experienced and are serious about this project, we are the best (and only) in the region, well known and can anticipate regular gigs around Yorkshire, Notts, Derbyshire, Manchester with a view to further afield. When we can gig again we are guaranteed gigs from regular venues, these nearly always will be paid but money shared between 5 or put back into gear so if you're only into earning a living please don't apply as we perceive the band above the individual.

There is no pressure to learn the whole set in a short space of time, obviously with coronavirus an issue we have plenty of time, but we would like to make start and have a full time new recruit sooner rather ran later. We're known the on the covers circuit primarily but we're happy to play and develop your original ideas and hopefully you ours.

We don't require vast experience, expensive gear* or even a Sheffielder just a reliable, honest and communicative team player that can satisfy and commit to the above.
*gear must be adequate and hold several timbres but tons of gear not essential

Formed in 2017 they cite their influences as Led Zeppelin, Marillion Rival Sons, Porcupine Tree. They have a unique sound mixing great rock riffs and melodies with a twist of prog.

Harmony of Spheres Presents...

After https://www.facebook.com/hellbentforever/ HELLBENT FOREVER JUDAS PRIEST we take the indoor stage for a slightly more mellow, yet no less intense late evening with PINK FLOYD, RUSH, GENESIS, MARILLION, JETHRO TULL, YES and more... We're back after over a year at this fantastic venue and where it all seems to be happening in Rotherham....

The Cutlers Arms, a grade two listed pub, renovated by Chantry Brewery, sells real ale on 12 hand pumps and 8 quality beers on tap including Bernard, Chimay Gold, Veltins, Budvar and Liefman.
