You are right i did live next yard to Bert Barry Bob Twigg .I do remember you we will never see them times again .Everybody was friendly neighbours looked after each other even though money was scarse. i had a great time in Fitzmaurice road and Darnall ,Tinsley park ,High Hazels park Quarry at top of road . I lived next door to my best mate Jimmy Marsden we had some great times Im 67now how old are George

  5. Really shocked by the news of the death of Roy Hawksworth he lived across road from my Grandmothers on Deerlands ave when he was young I saw him numerous times when he appeared on the clubs he was a very good singer and a smashing bloke always smiling

  11. I started at coleridge in 1958 and left in 1962 my teachers were Fred Knowles !A Beckwith 2A Pop Naylor 3A and Philips 4A some of my class mates were John Gleadhall Ken Atherton Gordon Lindley Pete Burgin Colin Abdy Walt Chappel John Featham Dennis Bamforth to name a few
