Hi there, I play in a few Sheffield based bands... www katandalex co uk - Acoustic folk duo playing traditional and original tunes and songs. We also do a lot of ceilidhs with a few extra musicians as the Silver Thistle Band. www silverthistleband co uk www theqp co uk - Folk band with rock/jazz/funk influences. I'm Kat and I play in a couple of bands! There's the Silver Thistle Band which is trad tunes with drums and bass - you can listen to us here - silverthistleband dot com (I'm new to the forum so can't post direct links!) We do lots of weddings and play for ceilidhs normally, though Alex and I also do songs - katandalex dot co dot uk and go to the EP page - originals and covers of the classics! Or if you wanted something with more of a passing affiliation with folk and a lot of other influences, try The QP... theqp dot co dot uk We can do ceilidhs too.
