  2. Ah yes I remember it well... so well in fact that Music in the Sun until this week was set to return to the Don Valley Bowl this year on the 29th & 30th July... Unfortunately now it will not be happening in 2006, however it will be making a welcome return to the Bowl in 2007 when the award winning No.1 Multi-Cultural Festival will be back with a vengance! Keep yer eyes open and yer ears to the ground for the Music in the Sun 10 year anniversary exhibition tour... Don't plan anything else for the weekend of the 29th yet though coz we have a little something up our sleeves!!! In the mean time make sure you keep checking out the website for further information: http://www.musicinthesun.co.uk

We are giving people the chance to give opinions about the area in which they live, to be presented to the people that can do something about it...! If you would like to be involved with this project come down this Saturday to: Healthy Living Centre Daniel Hill Upperthorpe 11am - 3pm See ya there...
  5. Again this seems to be an area in which funding has run out, therefore Street Wardens can no longer be seen walking the streets. It's issues like this that we are looking for peoples opinions on, with video and audio interviews taking place now for the creation of a DVD that will be presented to the very people that can make a difference to funding in the area... If you would like to be involved please contact: John Bown - 07005 982 036 - [email protected]

  8. er... is this the first time you've noticed this? when end of September comes so do the student, ramming the whole city centre, not a new phenomina tho'
  9. The reason that Sheffield has not got such a good nightlife has nothing to do with the size of the city, its simple really.... SHEFFIELD HAS NO VENUES!!!!!!!!!! I shout this coz it'z really fustrating.... Sheffield has suffered a shortage of venue for nights to be put on!!! So many venues want to put their own events on, which has a tendancy for them all to be the same....student nights! I have been organising events in Sheffield for 8 years and at the moment its particularly bad... I am currently looking for a venue for a monthly night and several events but there are very few places, most either because they are having refits or are limited due to licencing laws. If you have a venue, get in touch...
